The beaches in Cape Charles are of a shallow clear water of the
Chesapeake Bay facing west. Not only are the waters great for
children, CC has some of the most spectacular sunsets on the east
coast. Just a short couple steps across the natural sand dunes and
you’re on a quiet westward facing beach. Sand pipers run along the
shoreline and across the sand bars foraging for food all day long.

The is one of the original "Cassatt" houses built by the brother of
impressionist artist Mary Cassatt in 1883.
This charming house is only five blocks from the Chesapeake Bay,
three blocks to local coffee shop, restaurants,shops, galleries and
world class Bay Creek marina. Newly remodeled with lots of
light, "Cassatt Cottage" has all new kitchen, appliances, Central
Air and bath with great outside living space as well. Easy walk or
bike to beach or marina.
