GUEST COMMENTS:
We really enjoyed our trip to Crystal Beach. The cottage was great. It was our first experience
renting a cottage and had special needs with our three year old's food allergies. This cottage was
perfect. We were able to prepare as many meals as we wanted and also had some privacy with our son
in his own room to sleep.
The cottage was wonderful. It was bright and cheery and very clean. Truthfully, the cottage was much
nicer than the apartment we are renting in Michigan and it was very hard to leave. We enjoyed
walking around in the evenings. Stace and Doug were great and available when needed. They also put
in a new filter for the air purifier when they heard of my son's allergies. The total experience was
great!

We stayed at the Cliffords' cottage for two months, February and March of 2008. We could not have
asked for a more inviting and accommodating place. The cottage was warm, comfortable and had all the
amenties of home. It was truly our home away from home. Actually, it was better than home because it
was warm!!!! It was wonderful to take a walk down to the beach and watch the sunset and ride the
bike trail which is literally a short walk away.
Doug and Stacy Clifford are very accommodating and go out of their way to make you comfortable. They
provided us with tons of information about the area, things to do, where to eat and the history of
the area, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and affordable
place to stay. We have looked at many different places, and this cottage is well worth the small
amount they charge.

My husband and I have a daughter who lives in Tarpon Springs so we rented the Crystal Beach Cottage
for several weeks over Christmas. I admit, we rented it sight unseen so we were a bit scared that we
wouldn't like the house. Sending money to someone you don't know is a bit scary as well! But Stacy
and Doug were wonderful, attentive, available. They even installed high speed internet access for me
so I could work while there. It was a perfect size for us. Very cheery interior with everything we
could want. The neighborhood provides great walking/house sightseeing. Beautiful, mossy, tall trees
abound. It is located along a street but with the fan/air on at night that never bothered us and we
are light sleepers. The house is clean and adorable and well decorated with art objects and such. It
is just like home! It is within walking distance of a wonderful breakfast/lunch place called
Emily's. It also is a very short drive to downtown Tarpon Springs and close enough to Tampa as well.
There was only one criticism we could think of and that was an update on the bed would be nice, but
that is because we are used to a pretty primo king bed at home. All in all, staying there made us
want to buy in that particular quaint area so that is how positive our experience was. OH, don't
forget to bring bikes, because the house is right near a major bike trail.
