Fieldstone Country Retreat in Sonoma

Set on over an acre of peaceful country property this Sonoma retreat
is a private getaway. The pool, outdoor barbecue island, and
multiple patios create a beautiful backyard setting with view of the
neighboring vineyard. Make it a cozy romantic get away or a shared
family vacation. The extensive grounds of our country retreat make
it suitable for family reunions, rehearsal dinners, and even that
small wine country wedding.

Get a taste of wine country living by cutting fresh lavender and
roses from our garden for your dinner table. Pick fruit in season
from Pear, Peach, Apple, Plum and fig trees, add color and flavor to
your salads with tomatoes from our organic, raised bed garden. Sip
wine and drink in the view of the setting sun from the back deck.
Later, you’ll want to experience why Sonoma is called the “Valley of
the Moon”. Grab a sweater and wait for the stars to come out. Far
from the city lights they light up the sky and magnify the full moon
until it appears you can reach out and touch it.

Just 2 miles from the Historic Sonoma Plaza you can relax in this
tastefully appointed home on over an acre of property in the heart
of Sonoma Valley. Inside the home you will find a fully appointed
kitchen with granite counters that is open to the family room with
hardwood floors, stone fireplace and vaulted ceilings. Enjoy
beautiful views and sunsets from the french doors and deck.
Entertain and relax by the pool, outdoor BBQ and private yard. Play
horseshoes or Bocci ball in the back pasture or read your favorite
novel in the quiet, private setting.

The home sleeps 8 comfortably. The master bedroom has a king bed
and private bath. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, french doors
to the deck and pool area also with a private bath. The last two
bedrooms have a double bed and a trundle bed and share a hall bath.

Take advantage of the formal dining room for entertaining or share
informal meals and snacks at the counter, in the family room or on
the patio by the pool.

The family room is equipped with Cable TV that includes HBO, DVD/VCR
and CD Player.

Iron, Hair Dryers and washer and dryer are included.

Bike to local Sonoma Wineries, there are easy routes to some of best local wineries. Add a
day to stroll down shaded streets with historic homes and shop at
the Historic Sonoma Plaza, dine in some of the wine countries best
restaurants all just 2 miles away. Both the Napa Valley and Marin
County are just a short 10 to 20 minute drive.

Get a relaxing massage or spa treatment at one of many spas in
Sonoma, Napa or Calistoga. For a more romantic occasion choose to
have your massage right at your country retreat, next to the
sparkling pool, under the shade trees, overlooking the beautiful
surrounding vineyard.

A local favorite is the Tuesday Night Market held on the Sonoma
Plaza (starts 5pm mid April thru October). Enjoy local produce,
flowers, crafts and music. Bring a bottle of wine and picnic in the
historic Sonoma Plaza park!

For race fans, Infinion Raceway is just a 10 minute drive down
beautiful Hwy 121. Sun and racing by day, romance and candle light
by night!

Visit Bodega Bay, Dillon Beach and the beautiful Sonoma County Coast
Line. Or drive to San Francisco to shop, dine and site see. You
can be to both of these destinations in an hour or less.

Check out the City of Sonoma website and plan to come for one of the
many special events Sonoma offers. Just to name a few, Sonoma
Valley Film Festival, The Red and White Ball, Salute to the Arts,
Sonoma Jazz Festival or one of the local Shakespeare performances.
