La Playa is a beautiful 6 story building, directly on the
broadwalk/ocean. The condo is a 2 bed, 2 bath that just underwent a
complete renovation. Everything in the unit is brand new, including
furniture and appliances. It has an unobstructed ocean view, and
the inevitably relaxing sound of waves can be heard clearly from
your living room.

The condo has a parking spot underneath the building. There is a
beautifull pool that sits parallel to the broadwalk oceanside. The
condo has an elevator as well as community washer/dryers on the
first floor. There are 3 TV's with cable and a DVD player. The
unit is beatifully furnished for your enjoyment.

The condo is located in the middle of a recently renovated 2.5 mile
broadwalk. The broadwalk runs parallel to the ocean, and is
designed for walkers, bikers, & joggers. Along the broadwalk you
will find several dozen restaurants, ice cream parlors, shops, bike
rentals and much more. You will also find the Hollywood Beach
Theater a couple of blocks away, which hosts many evening musical
events.

Looking for great location to beach, boardwalk, restraurants or in general, Paradise. Look no more...you will find it here. From the moment we were met by Mairjulia and Fonzi we felt welcome. Their warm smiles immediately took away all our worries. When entering the condo, we found fresh flowers awaiting us. All instructions (very few) were given and they left us to enjoy and explore. The condo has recently undergone total renovation. Beautiful!

We are in our mid 50s and brought along my father(75). He awoke each morning to drink a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise from the table on our balcony. When I awoke we took a three mile walk on the boardwalk/beach and then had breakfast at one of the outdoor cafes. We rented a car, but you really don't need one untles there are places you want to visit. There is enough on the boardwalk to keep you busy.
We walked down to the Boardwalk Theater each night to see what was happening. (7:30-9:00). Very entertaining and everyone was enjoying themselves.
If you're look for a getaway, but still close enough to attractions...this is your place. In under 100 steps you can step out your door to a balcony,down to the pool/common area, The Boardwalk, and sit beach.
It was amazing to watch people walk by and just stop to look at this location. I (honestly) had three different couples ask me contact information for renting. I was just sitting on the balcony reading and they got my attention from The Boardwalk.
Stay for all the reasons I mentioned or just for the kindess of The Balarts. They are really nice peole with a lovely beach home.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Great Time at the Beach!

I love Hollywood Beach, but my fondest memories are of staying at this unit and building. It was the first time I was staying right on the beach, and I loved the easy beach access you get when staying at a small building, as opposed to a mammoth condo complex. I also loved coming in from the beach to the pool area and enjoying a swim there, or a rest in the shade. The building has a great location, because it's close to all the Broadwalk action, but still a little off to the side, so you can enjoy a quiet time as well. The unit is spacious and well appointed, and the owners easy to work with and willing to accommodate reasonable requests. I stayed in 2007, the system would not take that date.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
