Lummi Island is unique in its close proximity to the mainland (Bellingham) and the fact that it is served by its own vehicle ferry. The ferry makes it's 10 minute crossing at least once an hour from 6 am to midnight, each and every day.

You will be able to enjoy the treasures of island life, as well as mainland exploration.

Day trips to the cities of Vancouver, BC, Canada or Seattle, WA are perfectly within reason, as is hiking Mt. Baker, Whale Watching and visiting some of the other San Juan Islands.
