Vacation Rental Description

Welcome to Ranch Champagne! Located in the mountains of Three Rivers  
approximately 7 miles up Mineral King road.  A private cozy cabin  
nestled in a beautiful canyon with spectacular views. This  
comfortable and romantic retreat is perfect for relaxing or enjoying  
nature.

Vacation Rental Amenities

This cozy gettaway spot features vaulted ceilings with windows so  
you can enjoy the magnificient views of the rugged terrain that  
surrounds the cabin.   
   The cabin has one bedroom and one bathroom.  The bathroom has a  
shower with hot water and a normal toilet.  It is stocked with  
shampoo, soap and towels for your convenience.  The mini kitchen is  
fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, cocktail glasses, cooking  
utensils, coffee, tea, sugar, and drinking water.  The mini  
refrigerator has a small freezer so we recommend you bring an ice  
chest and ice.  All you need is your food and bevarages.   
   The cabin is furnished with a queen size bed (with flannel sheets  
in the winter for ultimate comfort on cold nights), a TV/VCR with  
movies and games for your enjoyment.  The cabin has a huge deck with  
a picnic table, patio chairs and a gas BBQ.   
  This cabin is powered by solar energy and batteries in an area  
where no power is available. It is sometimes necessary during the  
winter to run the generator to charge the batteries.  This is done  
from 11 AM to 2 PM when guests are not visiting.  The cabin has  
normal electrical outlets, switches and lighting.  
   The elevation is about 3,000 feet so during the winter it is  
possible to get a light dusting of snow.  The snow doesn't stay so  
we are open year round.  A forced air heater heats the cozy cottage  
during the winter.  
   The elevation in Three Rivers is about 1,000 feet. During the  
summer it tends to be a little bit cooler in town than at the  
cabin.  We offer a portable water cooled fan for those warm days.   
The temperature can get into the 90's but at night there is a strong  
canyon breeze off the river that cools the area.  A ceiling fan is  
also furnished in the cabin.  
 
 
Here is a list of items we recommend guests bring to make the most  
out of their stay.  
 
   If you are planning to visit Sequoia National Park in the winter  
you should bring chains.  Even though the road is cleared  
frequently, the Park Service won't let you past the gate without  
chains in your possession.  The chains don't have to be on your  
vehicle, just in your car.  
   If you are visiting during the spring and summer months you  
might need bug repellant, sun screen, and long pants for hiking.  
   Other items you might need include a flashlight, favorite CD's,  
alarm clock, reading material, camera, binoculars, ice chest, ice  
and lots of bottled drinking water.  We will provide you with at  
least a gallon-one of bottled water.

Activities and Attractions

Sequoia National Park is three miles from the cabin.  The park  
offers many activities such as hiking, swimming, snow play,  
sightseeing, and dining. Mineral King is about a 30 minute drive  
along the Mineral King Road.  The single lane paved road is cut into  
the side of a canyon and has no street lights.  Driving during the  
day allows you to see the spectacular views of Mineral King. There  
are many opprotunites for hiking near the cabin, in Sequoia National  
Park and Mineral King.  
   Three Rivers has many activities through out the year such as art  
shows and boutiques, Rodeo at the Roping Arena, Jazz Afair in April,  
and the Red Bud Festival in May. Pick up a local paper on your way  
through town to check out what is happening when you are visiting.   
Three Rivers also has a great local golf course open Tuesday through  
Sunday.  The nearby Lake Kaweah has fishing and houseboat rentals  
available. There is a seasonal river that runs through Three  
Rivers.  Rafting Trips are offered through professional rafting  
companies in town for those who seek an adventure.

Vacation Rental Rates

The rate for the cabin is $125.00 plus tax per night Sunday through  
Thursday and $145.00 plus tax per night on Friday and Saturday.   
There is a two night minimum on Fridays, Saturdays and holiday's.  
Ranch Champagne gladly accepts Visa and Mastercard. You may check in  
at 2:00 P.M. on the day of your stay. Check out is 11:00 A.M.  
 
If you are traveling with your pets, we require a $25 cleaning fee.  
Ranch Champagne is a destination resort made to accommodate two  
adults. We do not encorage children unless you would like to rent  
both cabins.
