Chinook Lodge in Mazama

The Chinook Lodge offers 3 bedrooms that can sleep up 6 people. Hide-
a-bed in loft can sleep 2 additional people. The lodge features a
great room with fireplace, dining area and gourmet kitchen. The
kitchen is fully equipped and offers a double oven, microwave and
dishwasher. The master bedroom offers a king size bed and jetted
soaking tub and walk in shower with heated tile floor. The second
and third bedrooms have a queen size bed and private bath.
Amenities in the lodge include a 2 televisions and VCR/DVD, private
phone line, iron and ironing board, washer/dryer. An outdoor
barbecue is available and located on the 600 square foot wraparound
deck. The lodge is located on a small private trout filled lake.

1. Hiking and Rock Climbing
Hiking options are limitless in the Methow Valley! Choose from
flower-covered meadows in the spring to breathtaking views through
fall. Go out for a few hours or spend the whole day exploring. Hikes
vary with the seasons; see our recreation specialists at Jack's Hut
about current trail conditions, map purchase and Wilson Ranch Select
hiking adventures. Should you choose, guided rock climbing will take
you from basic rope handling techniques to a climb at South Early
Winters Spire.
2. Mountain Biking
There are hundreds of miles of maintained mountain bike trails in
the Methow Valley. You can choose from flat terrain or steep. The
challenge is your decision. Go out for a few hours or spend all day.
We have top of the line KONA bikes, children's bikes, scooters,
helmets, a baby trailer and pull behind for rent at Jack's Hut. Ask
for Wilson Ranch.
3. Fly Fishing
Depending upon the season, the Methow River offers anglers a chance
to hook Rainbows, Cutthroat, Whitefish and Dolly Varden. Casting
lessons available on property at Freestone Lake. Arrange for a
guided excursion in the Valley by one of our highly skilled
instructors.
4. Horseback Riding
Adventure abounds for those who seek a horseback experience.
Trail rides range in time from one hour, to half day and full-day
rides. One to four day deluxe wilderness backcountry pack trips are
an experience of a lifetime. Ride over some of the same country that
entertained Jack Wilson's guests for over forty years.
5. White Water Rafting
Memorable great water adventures on the Methow or Skagit River.
Trips include class 3-4 rapids or simply a scenic float for the
whole family.
6. Heli-Skiing
There is no winter activity more exhilarating than Heli-Skiing or a
Flightseeing tour that offers a Valley view that is unsurpassed.

7. Nordic Skiing
This is what the Methow Valley is famous for! With 200-kilometers of
groomed trails, you're sure to find a trail that meets your needs.
Equipment rentals and lessons for both classic and skate skiing are
available for all ability levels.
8. Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding at Loup Loup Ski Bowl
Loup Loup Ski Bowl is one of the last small family areas in North
America. There can't be a better hill for first time skiing and
snowboarding. Great snow, great fun!
9. Hot Air Balloon Rides
Drift above the Methow Valley while enjoying spectacular views of
the Sawtooth and Pasayten Mountains. Adults and children 6-12.
10. Ice Climbing and Backcountry Adventures
