Vacation Rental Description

This 3-level Cape Cod vacation home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with
shower/tub, a full updated kitchen with microwave, dishwasher as well
as a washer and dryer.  The house sleeps 6-8 people with 2 double
beds, 2 twin beds, and a double futon/ sofa bed.  The lakeside home
also has a beautiful screened outside porch, an outside deck, a dock
at the shore, and a new swim dock.  There is also an outside grill. 
The house is fully equipped with towels, sheets, mattress pads,
dishes, pots and pans, and utensils.  The kitchen has a full stock of
spices, paper towels, etc.  Please feel free to use but please replace
when empty.  There are also supplies of toilet paper, laundry soap,
and cleaning agents.  The home is not appropriate for families with
small children.

Vacation Rental Amenities

There is a dock at the lake with two kayaks and a canoe for your use.
 Paddle and lifejackets are also provided.

Activities and Attractions

Loon Cove is located on a 5 acre wooded site that has 500 feet of
shoreline on beautiful Green Lake.  The house is set on a secluded and
serene hillside with gorgeous views of the Maine sunsets.  The site is
perfect for all types of water activities including swimming, boating
and fishing.  Other recreational activities such as golf, hiking, and
bicycling are nearby.  Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are just 30
minutes east of camp.
Bangor and Bangor International Airport are just 30 minutes west.  The
quaint little town of Ellsworth is only 15 minutes from the house. 
Downtown Ellsworth has grocery stores, unique shops and restaurants
serving fresh lobster and blueberry pie.
The lake itself is a crystal clear, glacier lake with rocky shores. 
Fishing is permitted on the lake, but a fishing license is required. 
The lake has bass, toque, and land-locked salmon for catch.

Vacation Rental Rates

We are currently renting for the 2007 Summer Season.  The house is
available June 1st through October 7th.  The house is rented Saturday
to Saturday for $1000 per week during the months of June and September
and $1350 for July and August.  A deposit of $250.00 is due at time of
rental along with half of the rental rate.
Balance of the rent is paid when you arrive.  The deposit will be
refunded upon your departure confirming there are no damages to the
house of property and you fulfill the rental.  Deposit is forfeited if
you cancel.  Sorry, no pets allowed.  The house is not handicap
accessible.
