interest, Sundestin Beach Resort offers many on-site amenities that

Located right on the beach, this beautifully decorated 16th floor one
bedroom unit offers a master bedroom with king-size bed and living
room with queen-size sleeper sofa. All linens and towels are
provided. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking needs.
Living room and master have cable TV with DVD players. Both the
living area and master bedroom have access to the walkout balcony and
stunning gulf view.

Best Experience Best Condo Best View

I loved mt stay there in Nov. Dec. and Jan. /08, the owners were so hospitable, friendly and concerned about my stay being as great as possible. The condo was great, reasonably priced and the view is unbeleivable. Also the staff at the Sundestin are always there for you , and always in a friendly personal manner

BEDBUGS ON SHEETS AND BLACK MOLD IN CONDO

This property was accurate regarding the location. The listing photos were not accurate in reflecting the rental's current appearance. The comforter is old and worn out, the mattress and foam topper was old, worn out and dirty. The photos online do not show the damaged walls and black mold on the wall, behind the curtains.

The property was not clean and well maintained, we found bugs in the bed and the bathtub was dirty.

I would not recommend this property to anybody.

Owners response: For over 8 years now we have owned and managed the rental of our SunDestin property with the objective that our guests have a wonderful stay in our condo and enjoy Destin as much as we do. Throughout these 8+ years our guests have consistently given us 5-star reviews and have been repeat customers of ours year after year. Any constructive criticism is always taken seriously and thoughtfully. I am very disappointed by the last review. I am honestly offended by this assessment of our condo because I feel like it does not accurately portray our beach home or our efforts to maintain it. We always take measures to ensure our condo is clean and updated. Two years ago we installed new cabinetry in the bathrooms and resurfaced the tub. A year ago we purchased new living room and patio furniture. Six months ago we installed new refrigerator and microwave in the condo. Last month, we replaced the TV in the living room with a new flat screen. We rotate our comforters so that they stay clean and do not get excessive wear. Every six months our condo is deep cleaned by the professional cleaning service that has maintained our condo on a weekly basis for 8+ years. If at any point in a guest's stay they find something that has been overlooked our cleaning staff is more that happy to come take care of it and ensure they are pleased with the results.
I am assuming that the "damaged walls" the previous guest referred to is the small wall in the master bedroom where I had a full length mirror hung for guests to use. Recently the anchors on that mirror came loose. My maintenance man is scheduled to patch, repaint and rehang the mirror next week when there is a two day space between guests and no one will be inconvenienced. I have NEVER seen black mold in our condo but I have asked my maintenance man to inspect thoroughly around both sliding glass doors to ensure some water damage has not occurred that we were unaware of. Lastly, our bedding is changed with every guest. Bedding is washed in hot water and dried with high heat. We rotate our comforters to avoid excessive wear and dry clean them between rotations. Pest control is done on a quarterly basis by the homeowners association. There should never be any issues with bugs or insects.
We love our guests that stay at our SunDestin Beach Resort condo. We want to ensure their vacation is a pleasant experience and stands up to the 5-star rating we have prided ourselves in always receiving.

What a wonderful condo! The view of the ocean and sunsets was spectacular. The condo had everything you could want and the kitchen had all we needed to cook some nice meals. The condo also provided us with the beach chair service, which was a bonus! The plus was that this wonderful condo was located right on the beach. There is not a more beautiful beach in the continental US than that of Destin. The condo is close to shopping and great places to eat! We had the Crab and Shirmp combo dinner for 2 at AJ's.....unbelievable. AJ's is also a fun place to dance, the band was great and it was located upstairs from the restaurant in an open outdoor club. We went Parasailing with a company called Sun Dogs, they are the very best! We also went on a sunset cruise on an old schooner ship called the Nathaniel Bowditch with Capt. Max....awesome....and highly recommended. What a wonderful vacation, and we plan to return....to get married on the beach!

Thanks for the memories!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
