Vacation Rental Description

This is a 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath Townhouse situated in Desert Hills III 
East.  We are south of Camino Encanto and east off of Camino Del 
Sol.  It is a short walk to Desert Hills Recreation Center as well 
as the Canoa Recreation Center.   North of Canoa Hills golf course.  
Our living room and patio face the east and provide views of the 
Santa Rita Mountains and River Valley that only a handful of GV 
Homes can.  The Master Bedroom has new furniture, TV with VCR, Queen 
size bed, walk-in closet, and its own bath with walk-in shower.   
The Guest bedroom has two twin beds with a large closet.  The two 
bedrooms and Living room have carpet while all the rest of the rooms 
have tile flooring.  Living room features two Lazy-Boy recliners, a 
sofa, TV with DVD Player in an Armoire.  Kitchen is fully furnished 
with newer dishwasher and microwave.  Kitchen nook features table 
with two chairs, Dining room has table and four chairs and is 
located just off the Living Room.  Laundry has new washer and 
dryer.   Our home has a 1 car carport with additional parking 
located just across the street for visitors.   We have a patio table 
with four chairs as well as a gas grill.   The patio also has two 
swivel rocker sling back chairs.

Vacation Rental Amenities

You will find our Townhome cozy as well as spacious.  We have 
continued to update our place every year since we purchased it in 
1992.  The view of the Mountains to the east is simply great.   
Beyond our patio wall is some 60-80' of desert plateau and beyond 
that is more desert going gradually down to a wash which borders one 
of the holes on Canoa Hills golf course.   It is not uncommon to 
hear coyotes howling at night, see humming birds, quail, roadrunners 
and bobcats during the day.   If you enjoy walking, bring your 
walking shoes and join the many other people out walking the 
sidewalks around Green Valley.   We have an extra set of mens right-
handed golf clubs for your use as well as coolers for day trips and 
fanny packs for hiking trails.  Nogales Mexico is but a short 45 
minute drive to the south, make sure you bring your passport.  There 
are 3 full service casinos within 20 miles of Green Valley, two of 
these places have a pretty full schedule of name entertainment they 
bring in for your enjoyment.     

Activities and Attractions

Green Valley is located some 20 miles south of Tucson in the Sonoran 
Desert with the Santa Rita Mountains to the east.  Mount Hopkins and 
Mount Wrightson are home to Madera Canyon known for its hiking 
trails and bird watching.   Green Valley is also a golf community 
with eight golf courses within ten miles and many more in the local 
area that are but a short 20-40 mile drive.  
Tubac is located some 15 miles south of Green Valley.   Known as a 
growing artist community and a great place to visit.   Day trips can 
be made to Tombstone and Bisbee, as well as the newly opened 
Karchner Caverns.   
Tucson is only some 30-40 minutes away with its own large and 
diverse activities including baseball spring training, shopping, 
entertainment, and theatre.
Green Valley Recreation can provide you with with swimming pools, 
spas, tennis, fitness centers, and all kinds of social clubs.

We are willing to rent on a weekly basis also, you will need to contact us for rates and time frames.

This is a No Smoking, No pets rental.  Rental rates include all 
Utilities, local phone, and expanded basic Cable TV, and high speed 
internet connection. A computer printer is also on-site. 
Security/Damage deposit of $250 is required.   A $100 cleaning fee is 
required at the end of the rental period.  This cleaning fee is non-
refundable.   

GVR (Green Valley Recreation) is available to all renters for a 
nominal fee.   Check out GVR in Green Valley on the internet for 
description of activities and facilities available.  GVR is very 
extensive in its activities and facilities.
