Vacation Rental Description

The name, "Great Escape," is perfect for this fabulous, four bedroom,
three bath prow-front mountain getaway located in Yonahlossee Resort
and Club, a private gated community known for its beautiful homes,
natural undisturbed setting, and award winning amenities.  Yonahlossee
is located on 300 pristine acres that border Moses Cone Memorial Park,
a 2700 acre National Park Preserve. This is the home where you can get
away from it all -- relax, unwind, and rejuvenate -- in the comfort of
your home away from home. Savor the inspiring views of Grandfather
Mountain from the open, wrap-around deck.

The Great Room, designed for informal family gatherings, offers
floor-to-ceiling windows, high vaulted ceilings, and a gorgeous stone
wood-burning fireplace. A farm-style dining table comfortably seats
parties of eight. The galley Kitchen is open to the living and dining
areas -- perfect for entertaining.

The Master Bedroom with queen bed is located on the main floor and has
its own private balcony and full bath complete with glass-enclosed
garden spa tub.

One of the Guest Bedrooms is also located on the main floor. This
Bedroom has a queen bed, and guests can use the full bath located just
down the hallway.

The other two Guest Bedrooms, both with queen beds, are located on the
upper level. These two bedrooms share a full bath with tub. A Loft
area, overlooking the Great Room, has a plush recliner and a
queen-size sleeper sofa providing additional sleeping for extra guests.

The main floor of the home is handicapped accessible designed for
those with special needs. The entry and bedroom doors are wider, and
the main floor guest bath offers a lower tub with grab bars. The level
entry (one step up to front door) and level parking areas are helpful
features for all.

Great Escape is located just minutes from the historic Village of
Blowing Rock home to wonderful boutiques, parks, terrific restaurants,
and the Blowing Rock Stage Company.  The Blue Ridge Parkway with its
miles of hiking trails, picnic areas, camp grounds, fishing lakes, and
scenic vistas is just 2.5 miles from Yonahlossee Resort and Club. 
Nearby attractions include Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain,
the Blowing Rock, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, and Appalachian
State University with year-round cultural and athletic events.

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates for Grear Escape are seasonal and do include a departure cleaning.
This outstanding home with inspiring views of Grandfather Mountain is
available for nightly, weekly, or monthly rentals.  Pets are not
permitted, and this is a non-smoking home.  Nightly rates range from
$279 to $534 per nights.  Rates are reduced for stays of three or more
nights.
