Vacation Rental Description

Beautiful log home with boat slip available!  Deerfield Resort is an exclusive  
and secluded area nestled between the Cumberland Mountains and the  
foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, overlooking gorgeous Norris  
Lake! It is aproximately 25 miles south of the Kentucky/Tennessee  
border off I-75, exit 134 (11 miles from LaFollette and 30 miles  
east of Knoxville.) 
 
Overlooking the Greens at Deerfield Golf Resort and Deerfield Cove  
Marina, this beautifully appointed, 3 level, Jim Barna log home was  
completed in November, 2005 and has four full baths and two half  
baths to support four full-size bedrooms (each with it's own full  
bath), a den, 2 queen beds, 2 full beds, and three twin beds. 3  
rollaway beds with comfortable mattresses are also available.  
 
The master bedroom offers a double whirlpool jet tub. The main level  
walks out to a HUGE outside deck with HOT TUB overlooking the lake  
and golf course with a gas fired chiminea, rocking chairs and plenty  
of swinging chairs. The lower level also walks out to another  
private deck with a porch swing and additional seating.  
 
The Greens at Deerfield, OPEN YEAR ROUND, is an 18 hole championship  
golf course located right in our backyard! Deerfield Cove Marina and  
your boat slip are visible from the deck. Access ramp is available.  
Springs Dock Marina (full service) is right around the corner.  
Norris Lake and most of the front nine holes of the Deerfield Resort  
Golf Course encompass the beautiful view. The Chef's Restaurant  
serves a delicious dinner,is 5 minutes away and has a full menu and  
bar. Breakfast and lunch are available at the golf course grill.  
Also five minutes away is Fast Freddie's Restaurant/Bar with big  
screen TV/grocery store/outside patio with live entertainment on  
weekends. Floating Tiki Bar (with the only full-service liquor  
license in Campbell County) at Deerfield Marina can be seen from our  
deck and is less than one half mile by car and is accessible by car  
or boat. 
 
Norris Lake has it all! The lake's beautiful blue/emerald green  
waters span more than 800 miles of shoreline covering 34,000 acres.  
Norris Lake boundaries extend up to the Clinch and Powell Rivers  
which feed Norris with clear, pristine waters making this lake  
perfect for family vacations!
