Scargo Lake Cape House in Dennis

Built in 2006, 'Scargo Bungalow' is nestled within 6 wooded acres on Scargo Lake.  The home has an open floor plan, approx 2000 sf.  We have approx 300 feet of lake frontage, with beach areas on both ends.  The main beach area has approx 30-40 feet of white sand lake frontage, a mahogony dock, and a sunbathing area.  The beach and lake are perfect for adults and children alike.  The lake is crystal clear and is fairly shallow out about 50-60 feet.

The house also has a large screened in porch with white wicker furniture (sofa and loveseat) with a view out to the lake on one side and a ping pong table on the other side.

Walking distance to Corporation Beach (about 9/10 of a mile) and Howe's Beach, the
Cape Playhouse, Dennis Public Market, Scargo Hill Tower, numerous quaint antique and gift shops, several restaurants, town library, post office, and the
famous Ice Cream Smuggler. All places listed are within a 5-20 minute walk.

NEW IN 2012:  42" LED HDTV for the family room, Both Queen Beds and Twin Beds have Temperpedic mattresses or "mattress toppers"

There are 3 full bedrooms and one loft area w/a pull out sofa (and privacy screen): two of the bedrooms have queen size beds, one bedroom has twin beds, the loft area has a full size pull out sofa.  The twin bedroom has room for additional air mattresses. 

There is a second loft area with sofa and and chairs for reading, playing board games, etc.

2 Full Bathrooms with bathtub/shower; one on 1st floor and one on 2nd floor

Large fully equipped kitchen with 2006 appliances; new dishwasher in 2010.

Great room (family room) has a cathedral ceiling with ceiling fan and matching large size leather sofa, loveseat and chair.

Hardwood floors throughout the cottage. Bathrooms are tiled.  No carpeting - perfect for people with allergies.

Large screened-in porch: one side has a ping pong table and the other side has seating for 6 on a comfortable patio sofa/love seat set-all with a view of beautiful Scargo Lake.  There is a mini-fridge on the porch for easy access to snacks and drinks.

Well behaved pets area always allowed.
