Enjoy the panoramic views from the master bedroom, living room and kitchen.  Relax on the patio in the evening and enjoy the sound of the ocean and the peacefulness provided by a very special condominium in a very special place. An amazing and relaxing vacation with the family

We had never been to South Padre Island and I am so glad we had the opportunity to stay in Ed and Cathy's condo. It was a wonderful location and loved having direct access to the beach. The weather was great during our stay and the people you meet in the gated community our super sweet. Ed is so helpful if you have any problems or questions during your stay or prior to your arrival. They are so great to work with too. They have little extra's in their condo to help your stay in case your forgot something at home or at the store. Don't look for anywhere else to stay since these are the excellent people to work with. You will love their place and location. I cannot say enough about it.... just loved it!! Glad we came as the winter season seems to have not left Michigan as of yet.... Loved our stay!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, romantic getaway

Hidden from spring breakers

We visited during the spring break season and with two children were worried about the atmosphere we'd find in South Padre. In that respect this unit is ideal, located at the end of the beach there was little to no interaction with any rowdy spring breakers. The complex is gated with security that regularly walks the premises. The unit itself is very nice, we have rented enough beach condos to tell that the owners take pride in their place. The only drawback is that the partition between the master bedroom and the living area is a slotted door which gives visual but no sonic privacy, if someone is up before you and in the kitchen you will hear them. If that won't be an issue for you then you will be very happy with this location.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway

What a Treat!!!

Oh, my what a treat... I've never stayed in a condo, anywhere, and had only dreamed about a special place ON the beach. This was truly a dream come true, and even more than I could have imagined. Thank you, Ed and Cathy, for a very special place to celebrate a huge birthday (#50)... you made my day, week, month, year, century!

The property is ground floor, perfect for stepping out onto the beach w/o all the hassle of stairs/elevators/distance. Interior furnishings very comfortable and clean. Attention to detail for every need is exceptional!

We loved the off-season, quieter part of the year trip. The island didn't have as many activities available in the early fall, but having the beach to ourselves much of the time was a huge bonus!

Ed and Cathy also included a great list of places to eat and area attractions that helped narrow down the list of choices... and those suggestions were spot on!

We'd like to do this every year and hope that we can follow through with a plan to make it happen. Worth every penny!!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
