peace and quiet which makes it ideal as a summer vacation spot. You're a five-minute
walk from Cape Split and beaches, sunsets over Pleasant River Bay, in addition to endless
hiking in the woods and out on the blueberry fields, bird-watching, climbing Pigeon Hill
and other destinations, freshwater lakes, and all the pleasures of Maine. Located in
Addison, Down East Maine, you're an easy drive to Bar Harbor, Machias, Ellsworth, or just
over to the village in Milbridge for rich coffee and even richer homemade cake at the
Chicamoose Café. In the cooler season the fireplace and the wood stove in the kitchen are
just the right spots for a relaxing evening.
