A Weeks stay in NYC

Review submitted: April 19, 2014   Date of arrival: April 12, 2014

This apartment was perfectly located to see everything that anyone would want during a visit to New York City. A couple blocks away from Central Park, the Natural History Museum and the Hayden Planetarium makes it great for the kids. Great restaurants everywhere, grocery stores and a Starbucks on every corner makes it a perfect location for a week or 2 stay. The apartment was very quiet, however you will hear people going up and down the stairway, but that did not bug us too much. We did encounter a few issues, the TV service was not in place due to an issue with the provider, we rented movies and played them on the DVD player for our evenings in. We used our iPad to watch the local news and some of our recorded shows using the fast internet connection. The overhead lights in the main room and the lamp did not work due to bad light bulbs and we could have used a couple of extra blankets, it's an old building (1903, I looked it up) so it can be drafty. We would recommend this apartment for a family of three without hesitation and will definitely consider renting it again on our next visit to NYC. One last thing, the young man at the office was very nice and helpful when we arrived. Thanks!

Recommended for: families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
