Completely renovated unit in the heart of Gulf Shores!

Island Sunrise is a classic gulf front property located conveniently 1/2 mile from Hwy. 59 in Gulf Shores. Only seconds away from all of the best shopping and dining attractions in the area. The famous restaurant, Sea-N-Suds, is only 2 buildings down from the complex or walk across the street to one of the most popular souvenir shops, Surf Style!

Island Sunrise 664 has been completely renovated as of February 2010. Boasting new cabinets, granite counter tops and all new appliances and fixtures in the kitchen. New tile in the living/kitchen area that flows through to the balcony.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you could need. The dining area seats four at the table and there are three bar stools for additional seating. The living area features a sofa sleeper and 39" flat screen TV and DVD player. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and 21" TV and DVD player. The guest bedroom has bunk beds with a twin on top and full on bottom. There is also another twin bed in that room and an 18" TV with DVD player.

The gulf front balcony has AMAZING views! The unit also has a stack washer and dryer inside the unit. The unit is on the 6th floor.

Maximum of two cars allowed. Wireless internet provided.

Minimum age to rent is 25 years old.

We loved this place!!!

The unit was clean and spacious with plenty of room for our group of six. Maintenance was prompt when needed (light fixture and when we locked ourselves out!!).

My ADD really wanted to reorganize the kitchen cabinets...I would say if you plan to cook a lot, you might bring some of your own things. The options are sparse and the cooking items in the condo reminded me of my first apartment and hand-me-down kitchen gear. I brought my own pans and utensils to fix breakfasts. We ate easy lunches and went out every night. It's not horrible but if you like to cook, just bring your own stuff :-)

I wish there were hooks in the bathrooms for towels and such.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Owners response: Glad to hear you found the unit clean. It does offer room for comfort. Sorry you needed maintenance but glad to hear they were prompt for you. Being locked out can be a common occurrence, sorry that was part of the vacation. You should have reorganized those kitchen cabinets. I’m sure that would have made an impression on housekeeping. Thank you for letting me know the kitchen is sparse. It is the time in our season when unit inventories are in the works. Impressive you brought your own items, especially only to cook breakfast!

Awesome week

We had a wonderful time @ Island Sunrise this week! I must say, we have been staying somewhere in this complex for many many years and we have never been disappointed. The underneath porch swings and grilling area are big selling point for us because we have lots of family that come down at the same time and we are definitely "beach bums". The rooms are always very clean and comfortable!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers

Great location, clean and we would definitely stay there again!

We were very happy with the accommodations. The location was within walking distance of the Hangout and shopping. It was very clean and overall a great place to stay. There were a few minor issues, e.g. a few electrical outlets did not work and the kitchen did not have plastic bowls/cups for children. Aside from that, it was a great location, clean and we would definitely stay there again! There was also a security guard securing the area in the evenings which was great! Hazel's Family Restaurant has great food at reasonable prices although we waited 30 min. for our food after being seated. For faster service I would recommend Mojo's on 59. The Hangout is also a great place for entertainment although a burger will cost you $11. I would recommend lunch there vs dinner.
