I've stayed in this home for the past four summers with my extended family. This is a GREAT house! The location is PRIME. It is just a short walk down Belvedere to Bridge Street. We literally have walked to and from downtown 10 times a day because it is so convenient. The main room is a nice gathering place with a comfy couch and TV with cable and DVD player. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Just a trip to Glen's for groceries and you'll be ready to grill your dinner and eat at the dining room table. There are two bright, clean, nicely appointed bathrooms and PLENTY of towels! There is one bedroom on the first floor and three upstairs. Two of the bedrooms upstairs have A/C and one doesn't (not sure why not). There is plenty of room on the back lawn to relax and play. We've set up kiddie pools, run in the sprinkers, and played football, all with several cars in the driveway and still lots of room to play or sit on the big porch in one of the red adorondak chairs. The owner is very responsive. Often coming by to attend to any issues to that arise. One year the BBQ grill wasn't working and the owner came by immediately with a new one. She even provided me names of local teens who would babysit, which we ran into, working in one of the Bridge St. stores the following summer! This house was the childhood home of the owner and her family. She and her sisters renovated the house and made it into a rental. After only one summer I felt like this home was MY Charlevoix home... and we've come back year after year.
