Relive the era of the great northwest lumber boom in this colonial
style mansion. Built in 1925 by a prominent lumber mill owner as a
residence, it later became known as the Nantucket Inn. The
Nantucket Inn faces east toward the Cascade Mountains with Mount
Baker visible and overlooking the picturesque waters of Fidalgo
Bay. Recently modernized with beautiful furnishings, the Nantucket
is an ideal base for exploring Anacortes and the surrounding area
including the San Juan Islands.

The main floor has a large living room with fireplace, elegant
dining room, breakfast nook, fully equipped kitchen, 2 powder rooms
and a large bedroom with a sitting area.

The second and third floors house the other seven bedrooms with
either a queen or king bed with pillow top mattress. Each bedroom
has its own private bathroom. The third floor also has a second
fully equipped kitchen. Each room has a view of the Cascade
Mountains, the Bay or the formal garden.

The formal garden which has a large pavilion and lawn area is
perfect for special occasions such as weddings, family reunions,
office parties and offsite meetings.


Anacortes is located on Fidalgo Island in northwest Washington
State. Connected to the mainland by a large bridge over the
Swinomish Channel, Fidalgo Island offers an ideal mixture of marine
life, nature and community. Anacortes is the main terminal for the
Washington State ferry service that serves the San Juan Islands and
Vancouver Island. The city contains numerous public parks as well
as over 2200 acres of original forest, which is preserved for the
community to enjoy. The Nantucket Inn is close to the center of town
for dining out, shopping and antiquing.
