Vacation Rental Description

Completely refurbished after hurricane season 2004, we have taken the
opportunity to take our little place in paradise and turn it into a
stylish, elegant, and very comfortable second home. From the
terracotta floor tiles under your feet to the Tommy Bahamas style
furniture throughout. We have not compromised on refurbishing our
villa with the best materials available. You will notice the white
wood kitchen cabinets with all the glass and design work making it a
very attractive and comfortable spot completely equipped to create the
best of your family favorite. You will find the necessities for your
everyday meals; dishes, glasses, silver ware, pots & pans, utensils,
toaster, mixer, and even a blender to mix your favorite drink. The
island on this kitchen is a favorite of mine. It is the spot where you
can prepare your meals, serve them and still use it as a place to play
games with your family when relaxing after a long day of activities.
The stone surface through the kitchen is durable as well as beautiful.
Because of the openness of this long room, the kitchen and living area
are connected and you can entertain your guests, or stay part of the
family action as you prepare your meals.

The living room is as cozy and comfortable as the kitchen. It features
a stylish queen size sofa with the same inviting green hues as the
surrounding views from your balcony. This peaceful color theme is
carried out through the condo. There is a recliner as well and a great
round coffee table for entertaining and just relaxing watching the
brand new 27” TV/DVD. Through the slider to the balcony, you will have
wonderful memories when you just sit outside in the fresh air. If you
are an early riser, the sunrises you will experience will be out of
this world. During day you will be able to dine on our little table
and chairs and watch your favorite golfer tee off the 1st whole. If
you go through the pocket doors from the living room to the bedroom
you will find a very comfortable, plush queen size bed, a great
comfortable lounge chair, a dresser with plenty of drawers for your
things and an armoire with a 27” TV/DVD for watching your favorite
movie comfy in bed. Our little villa has a great feature, which is
greatly appreciated especially by the ladies. It has a separate sink
in the hallway outside the bathroom, just so that no one hurries you
when you are trying to get ready for that dinner date. A washer/dryer
is also a great convenience right inside the unit.

The condo has plenty of linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs,
all you need is to bring your personal things and you will have a
great time in our Ocean Village. It is no coincidence that they call
this area the “Treasure Coast”, where you can find your own little
treasures.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The apartment is completely furnished with plenty of linens and
towels provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave,
dishwasher, refrigerator with ice-maker, toaster,
toaster oven, coffee maker, small food processor, and a blender for a
refreshing frozen margarita. The central A/C gives you the option of
cooler air or you can open the windows and with the front screen door
you'll have a great cross-breeze to enjoy the ocean air and the sound
of the waves crashing. The brand-new washer & dryer, iron and ironing
board means you can always look fresh and pressed.  Brand-new tropical
looking ceiling fans in living room and bedroom provide a great
breeze. Two Color TV's and a DVD/VCR provide additional entertainment.
The screened patio has a table and chairs perfect for alfresco dining.
Beach chairs, towels and blanket means you're all set to enjoy a day
on the beach, located just across the golf course. 
The resort features 3 swimming pools (heated in winter), 10 tennis
courts, 1 racquetball/squash court, 2 paddle ball courts, a 6-hole
miniature golf course and a 9-hole, par-27 executive golf course
(longest hole 175 yards - shortest hole 70 yards) which is free in the
Off-Season and has a $2 green fee from about Dec 20 thru a week after
Easter. The resort also has its own 4-Star restaurant, Kristy's on the
Ocean which is located next to the largest of the 3 swimming pools.
Also featured next to the pool is a pool-side Tiki Bar which is open
for food and drinks about 4 or 5 days a week depending on the weather,
a "kiddie pool" for small children, a hot-tub, a Bocce court, and an
exercise room with sauna and shower facilities. 

Activities and Attractions

Fishing:  Deep sea fishing and party boats available from Ft. Pierce 
marina; surf fishing only yards away available for Blue Fish, 
Pompano, Snook, Whiting, and many other species. South Jetty and 
Indian River offer excellent fishing. Bass fishing at Lake 
Okeechobee rated one of the best Bass Lakes in USA, only 40 minutes 
away.

Baseball:  Ocean Village is within a half hour drive of the LA 
Dodgers (Vero Beach) and NY Mets (St. Lucie West) Spring Training 
Camps. At the conclusion of spring training in early April, the 
minor league (Vero Beach Dodgers & St. Lucie Mets) plays a full 
season of Class A Florida League baseball at these same sites from 
April to September. Most of these minor league games are played at 
night and are very inexpensive.

great place to see live manatees (best viewing in winter) It's free!

*Fort Pierce Jai Alai - located on King's Highway about a mile north 
of the FL Turnpike exit at Fort Pierce (Seasonal). Off-Track Betting 
is also featured here.
*Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute - 10 minutes north on Route 
US1. 
*Gilbert Bar House of Refuge-Life Saving Station - 30 minutes south
UDT Navy Seal Museum - 10 minutes north on N. Hutchinson Island 
*Heathcoat Botanical Gardens - 20 minutes
*Lion Country Safari - 30 minutes
*Land of Butterflies - 20 minutes
*Biking available in complex and along RT AIA
*Bathtub Beach/Reef - 25 minutes south - great snorkeling and 
swimming for smaller children. 
*Elliott Museum - 20 minutes south on Route A1A 
*Disney World/Universal Studios - approximately 2 hours away 
*Kennedy Space Center - approximately 1 hour 45 minutes north 
*Horseback Riding on the Beach - offered at the Frederick Douglass 
Memorial Park about 3-4 miles south of Ocean Village on the 1st, 2nd

Shopping:

3 major shopping malls within a 1/2 hour drive:
*The Tanger Outlet Mall at the Vero Beach Exit of I-95 (I-95 and 
Route 60)
*The Indian River Mall on Route 60 in Vero Beach 
*The Treasure Coast Square Mall on Route US1 in Jensen Beach 

Golf: If Ocean Village's 9-hole golf course is not enough for you
there are 17 championship golf facilities consisting of 21 separate
courses (mostly Fazio and Nicklaus designed) all within a 40 minute
drive. Prices range from $15 to $35 for 18 holes with a cart during
the off-season. In-season prices are about double. All of these
courses are open to the public.

Vacation Rental Rates

One Week Minimum

"Off" season is May 1 to Nov. 30
Rates are:  $650/week, $92/night
$2600/month; $200 refundable security deposit
and one-time cleaning fee of $75
Plus: Florida Resort Tax 11.5%

"Peak" season is Dec. 1 to Apr. 30
Rates are:  $850/week, $121/night
$3400/month; $200 refundable security deposit
and one-time cleaning fee of $75
Plus: Florida Resort Tax 11.5%

*Rental Deposit for one month rent in High Season is: $500 (on signing
6mo in advance, $300 + $200 Security Deposit). The amount of $2900
will be do four months before arriving. If condo is available and
needed immediately, then the full amount of $3400 is due before you
arrive. This those not include taxes

*SECURITY DEPOSIT:  $200 will be colected at the time of 1st  deposit.
 This security deposit will be refunded if no damage or loss occurs.

*CLEANING FEE: $75 (cash) is to be left on the counter for the
cleaning service.

*Florida Resort Tax is not included on the above price.

*Check In Time: After 3:00PM - Check Out Time: Before 11:00AM

Length Of Stay Discounts: 2/Mo = 10% & 3/Mo = 15%

Cancellations and Refunds:
For any cancellations which occur at least 60 days prior to your
scheduled arrival date, refund of monies paid less $200.

For cancellations that occur within 60 days of your scheduled arrival
date, for any reason whatsoever, depoits and rental payment are
refunded only to the extent that your week(s)/month(s) 
can be re-rented.

Ocean Village Resorts does not permit trailers, pick-up trucks, 
commercial vehicles, campers, motor homes, rv’s, boats or boat 
trailers on the site.  suv's and family vans with rear windows are 
allowed.

We do not rent to singles under 25; proof of age required; you will 
be checked.

No pets/dogs are allowed.

Smoking is not allowed. No exceptions! If this is violated, $200
deposit will be kept towards cleaning!
