Vacation Rental Description

Casa Alegria is a spacious and secluded ocean view villa located in  
the heart of Manuel Antonio. The villa is fully air conditioned and  
beautifully decorated in a Balinese style and is one of the few  
houses in Manuel Antonio within walking distance of the beach.  
 
The house is designed to maximize the feeling of light and air, with  
floor to ceiling windows on each level facing the stunning view of  
the Pacific Ocean, lush rainforest, and stunning Pacific sunsets.  
Both of the upper levels have large balconies spanning the length of  
the house, which are perfect for enjoying dinner or drinks in the  
warm evening air, or even better - a massage from one of the many  
accomplished spa therapists in the area. The balconies are also a  
fantastic spot for watching the abundant wildlife in the rainforest  
surrounding the house, and it is a common occurrence that monkeys,  
sloths and tropical birds can be viewed without leaving your chair. 
 
The balconies overlook the ample private pool and garden area,  
complete with your own hot tub which is fantastic for an evening  
soak after a day at the beach. 
 
Services 
 
Included in the price of your stay is the Green Coast Villas  
personal concierge service. Staying at a private residence does not  
mean you must sacrifice the service and assistance you find at a  
hotel, and your concierge is on call at any time during your stay to  
assist with your travel plans and logistics, booking activities,  
advice on local attractions and restaurants, and anything else you  
may need during your stay. 
 
In-house private chefs and massage therapists are also quickly  
arranged, at extra cost. 
 
Bedrooms 
 
Casa Alegria sleeps 8 people comfortably, in 4 double bedrooms.  
 
The master bedroom is located on the top level of the house and  
features a queen size bed and an en-suite bathroom with large  
whirlpool tub and shower. Sliding glass doors allow access to the  
balcony, and the view that greets guests in the morning from this  
room is breathtaking. 
 
On the next level down are 2 more ‘master’ bedrooms, located off the  
entertainment area. Like the primary bedroom on the level above,  
both these bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, balcony access, and  
unbroken views of the ocean and jungle. 
 
The garden level has another bedroom which has a separate access  
from the rest of the house for those couples who might desire a  
touch more privacy. The bedroom is a ‘studio’ set up, with queen  
bed, en-suite bathroom and kitchenette. The great aspect of this  
bedroom, is that within 5 steps from your bed you can be soaking in  
the hot tub outside, or sunbathing! 
 
Living areas 
 
The main level of the house is a large open-plan kitchen and living  
area. This room is filled with light from the large window spaces,  
and the light décor is perfect for this tropical and sunny  
environment. The kitchen is fully equipped kitchen with modern  
stainless steel appliances, and has everything you need whether you  
plan on cooking or hiring one of our expert chefs. There is also a  
barbecue for your use which is perfect for grilling the day’s catch. 
 
A comfy seating area facing the ocean is perfect for passing the  
time chatting with your group or reading.  On the next level is a  
family entertainment area with cable TV and DVD player. 
 
The word ‘Alegria’ means ‘Happiness’ in Spanish – a perfect  
description of how our guests feel after staying at this one of a  
kind residence.
