Peace & Tranquility in the heart of thr Redwoods in Santa Cruz

A family retreat for a century and more. We have gone to great
lengths to present to you a very clean and comfortable stay. Along
with the sleeping of 6 people in comfortable beds, there is a fold out couch
which is in the dining room and can sleep two more(with privacy).
Plus, there is plenty of room outside for great summer sleeping, in
back down by the waterfall, camping style. Vary unique and fun to
do. so,you could actually have 10 people in comfort and have a lot of fun. The living room has a wood burning fireplace with plenty of wood in the rear wood shed.
The pictures and postcards we have tastefully assembled throught  the house are all actual photo's of our original family here on the property and throught Ben Lomond and Santa Cruz, dating back to 1900.
So, relax and come to a peaceful place in time where you will leave
with great memories.

Full kitchen, cooking and eating utensils, microwave, dish washer,
refrigerator & ice maker, coffee maker, Toaster, Waffle Iron.
Indoor laundry and all bath & bed linens provided.
Bedrooms have 1 king bed set, 1 queen bed set, 1 day bed with 2nd
pullout single bed. Also 1 couch with a pullout bed in dining room
(with privacy). We also Have a very nice brand new crib for you put in the house on request.
3 T.V.sets,DVD player, C.D. player, and mics. board gamed and cards.
3 outdoor seating areas for great entertaining,and a natural gas BBQ
hooked up to the house gas supply so no worries of the propane tank
running dry. Full supermarket 1/2 mile and video store 1/4 mile from
house, no need to drive. WIFI at coffee nine just down the street.
We also have a great assortment of area amusement brochures and all
the local restaurant Menu's to help plan your stay.
No phone in house since everybody has a cell.
Two full bath's, 1st with a 5' tub/shower combination and the 2nd
with a 32" stall shower, both with grab bars

The Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk is a 20 min. drive from the house.
Carmel & Monterrey are just 70 min. and San Francisco is a very
nice 70 min. drive.
 There are two California State Redwood parks just a few
minutes away, Henry Cowell in Felton and Big Basin in boulder creek.
Both with great hiking, biking, and a whole lot of beautiful redwood
giants. Right next to Henry Cowell is a local favorite, "Roaring Camp
Railroad". Home to an antique steam engine train. You can take a
short trip to the top of the mountain and back or you can catch the
mid mourning train into Santa Cruz where it ends right at the world
famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Spend a few hours on the rides and then take it back to felton later in the afternoon. This is a very highly
recommended day trip that will bring enjoyment to all...
And then comes the weird and unexplained where you can drive up
to "The Mystery Spot" above Santa Cruz high in the mountain where
you will lose all your natural senses and completely defy gravity as
we know it today. Just 15 minutes above Ben Lomond you will come to
Loch Lomond reservoir. A small oasis in the redwood forest where you
cad go fishing on the lake in either row boats or electric motor.
Also a great place to relax, Have a picnic and forget about it!!

A Cleaning  FEE  of   $150  will be added to every rental.

Security Deposit of  $500 will be charged (fully Refundable)

A $500 reservation deposit will reserve your time with us. This deposit will become the security deposit.

The remainder of the deposits and rent must be paid in full
with in 2 weeks prior of your arrival date. You have until then to cancel for any reason and recieve a full deposit refund.

The security deposit is refunded after your departure and inspection of premisis. (within 7 days) By Check
