This wonderful, family-owned, cabin is located in a desirable upscale area on the West Shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe, and has plenty of privacyand forest views.
The large, open plan is nicely decorated with plenty of light. On a cul-de-sac, and surrounded by pines, the home is just a short walk to the Lake. There is a private homeowners association Dock and Beach.
A romantic place for two or a great family vacation home! No need to
drive anywhere... Walk to the lake for swimming, and boating; we are
just up the street from the bike trail that wraps around the lake.
The Tahoe shuttle runs frequently to the ski resorts and Tahoe City
for restaurants and shopping.
The spacious, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath cabin sleeps 8... we also have a few inflatable aero beds for the livingroom to make that 9+. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and down bedding. The bunk room has 4 built in twin bunks with big quilts and the third bedroom has two twin beds with quilts.
Our home is designed with an open plan, with a long dining room
table that seats at least 12... we use one end for crafts and the other
for meals! The kitchen is open to the living area, an entertaining
plus. Pine cathedral ceilings with sky lights, antiques, and "Tahoe
Style" furniture, all add to the ambiance.
In the summer, you can barbecue or relax on a lounge chair on the
large deck under the pine trees. For the colder months, there is a
large wood burning stone fireplace in the living room. Amenities include flat panel TV/cable/DVD, and a 2nd TV/DVD/VCR, over 100 videos, Wi-Fi, Stereo w/ CD player and games.
The fully-equipped kitchen has updated appliances, and a washer and dryer is downstairs near bedrooms.
The home is conveniently located close to Tahoe City shopping and restaurants. Just South on Hwy 89 is Sugar Pine Point State Park, Meeks Bay (great sandy beach), and not far to the casinos in either North or South Shore. It is just one mile from skiing at Homewood, ten miles from Squaw Valley and Alpine Ski Resorts.
This is a great deal! Much less expensive than equal homes through
agencies. Family-owned, so we keep it nice... relaxing, spacious,
great location, kid-friendly (gate at top of stairs, portable crib
available, videos etc.).
