Gorgeous home!!

Review submitted: June 2, 2014   Date of arrival: May 23, 2014

What a fantastic home to stay in!! I had a total of 17 people to celebrate my 40th birthday over Memorial Day weekend. The house fit all of us perfectly and we never felt like we were too crowded. A group of 11 of us arrived late Friday evening/early Saturday morning with others coming later during the weekend. The home was lit up for our arrival with music playing, a welcome basket full of snacks, food in the refrigerator to make breakfast, a bottle of wine, and cookies and muffins in both the main house and garden apartment. The owner was amazing to work with. The pictures do not do the house justice!! We enjoyed the home just as much as we enjoyed exploring the city!! There are quite a few bars and restaurants in walking distance of the home and the streetcar is only a short walk. Due to construction on the streetcar lines, it is actually a long commute to the French Quarter so I would recommend a taxi - with a group of 6-7 in a cab, we paid about $3.00 per person (including tip). The pool area can make you feel like you're in your own private world and it is VERY EASY to lose track of time there. I would definitely stay in this house again.....Michelle definitely does everything to make you feel like you are right at home!!

Perfect place for JazzFest and Sight seeing

Review submitted: April 28, 2014   Date of arrival: April 24, 2014

Just had a wonderful NOLA experience with 16 family members and Friends. We had both the main house and the guest house. Plenty of room...beautiful home with tons of eclectic items throughout the home! The courtyard was amazing!!! Our First night there we had Michele's sister Lisa prepare our better way to go. We were served appetizers ...then the entree and then dessert!! for the first night in was awesome to be waited on while sitting in the beautifully lite courtyward...candles everywhere. The perfect way to start our Jazzfest weekend! Any problems that we had Michele took care of immediately! Both places were stocked with food items to start us off! Beautiful home!

Great Location

Review submitted: April 10, 2014   Date of arrival: April 2, 2014

This house was perfect for a big birthday celebration with the family. We were within walking distance to the trolley and many restaurants. It was so nice not to have to drive anywhere.

The Owner is great, she was there to greet us and show us the house. I would definitely stay there again.
