This is our third year in a row that we have stayed at this property. The 3 bedrooms are perfect if you are taking kids who can easily walk to the mountain and home anytime without having to run a carpool...
Beautiful family room and a fireplace we use every visit.....also a great spot that we use our saucers and build snow jumps...

Great Trip

Review submitted: December 22, 2011   Date of arrival: December 15, 2011

We had a great trip and still think your place is the most geographically desirable of any we have rented. I just wanted to let you know the boys loved it again and we will be back.
Have a great Holiday.

This was a disappointing experience for my family. Draperies were missing on several windows. There was no telephone access as description stated. TV remotes were nowhere to be found in 2 bedrooms leaving the TV unusable since remotes were needed. One kitchen stove burner did not work. Kitchen was dirty and had no tools to wash dishes, used bathroom wash cloths. Downstairs toilet was wobbly when you sat on it leaving one a little apprehensive. Owner was not very accomodating with the complaints or solution of problems. Stayed only 2 nights out of 3 we booked. Description makes cabin seem quiet and secluded which it is not. We will not be returning to this cabin.

Owners response: The above renters booked our cabin for a 3 night weekend stay in early January. One night prior to the stay, I received a call, letting me know they could not stay the last night. I explained, I had a renter coming in on Monday night which was scheduled based on their rental stay and renting out the cabin for one night on such a short notice would be hard. I received a call on Sunday from them, letting me know they were leaving the cabin. At no time did they make any complaint about the cabin.

Approximately 1 week after their stay I received an email from them telling me about the positives of our cabin but they were disappointed that we did not have dish towels, a phone for local calls, missing remote control for a bedroom dvd player and a couple windows that did not have window coverings. They felt these items warranted a refund of $100. I called to speak to them and informed them that I had just purchased an 18 pack of hand towels and extras were kept in the linen closet. We have 4 separate TV's in the cabin. For the TV in question we have 3 separate remotes that control this TV. I stayed at the cabin the following weekend and located 5 remote controls, albeit one was in between the couch cushions. We removed the phone this year from the cabin since we found everyone used their cell phone. Our phone records showed we only had 11 calls placed in a 3 year period. In place of this we added additional movie packages to DirecTV. We have two windows, the kitchen and a small window in living room which both face the ski slopes and provide a view. They have never had window coverings and we feel there is no privacy issue. Renter told me, if I would not I refund the last night rent they would let everyone know. At that point I realized they were reaching for things wrong with the cabin to try to get a refund. I agreed to split the difference at $50.

I cut and paste part of the email I received which I find interesting when I read their new complaints.
"I wanted to let you know that the cabin has the best beds we have ever slept on. It was refreshing to get a good night sleep after a day of fun. Second, the slope in the back of the property was one of the longest I think I have ever seen. Though we don’t ski, I think that being within walking distance to the slopes is very cool. Internet was another great plus. Finally, the easy of find the cabin was an additional bonus. Finally, my wife and I are very private people".
