Vacation Rental Description

The Sago House
This is the perfect 2 story waterfront home for entertaining. With 3400 sq. ft under air, 4 
bedrooms, 3 baths and 80ft of dock space.  Welcome to the Sago House, named after the huge Sago tree 
in the back at the water's edge. It is a one-of-a-kind tree to go along with a truly one-of-a-kind 
house. The east facing glass on each level gives you views of the pool deck, canals 
and boats heading out to the intracoastal. The interior is also remarkable with a balcony game room 
(see below) with incredible views. Relax inside play billiards, music and enjoy! Sorry, no pets. 
Outside smoking only. 

The Pool Deck- the ultimate for relaxation. There's plenty of room around the pool for entertaining 
and cocktails. With several tables there's seating for you and your guests. Pick you spot and view 
north or south (shown here), which is intersection of 2 canals. Sit back and watch the boats go 
by... don't forget to wave! There's plenty of seating on several decks and the pool is waiting. The 
breezes are always there for you and the area is shaded in the afternoon. At night the area is very 
romantic with landscape lighting on all the trees. You must see it.

The Game Room on the Balcony
Entertain your guests on the balcony game room. You can enjoy a game of billiards while surrounded 
by a unique collection of masks from around the world. In addition, a music art theme flows 
throughout the home from jazz to rock n roll. A stereo and CD player are provided for your listening 
pleasure so bring your favorite CDs. A small refrigerator is located on the far wall for your 
beverages! The mask collection is amazing at night with spot lights on many of the large pieces in 
the collection. We have recently added a Foosball table under the stairway!

The Completely Remodeled Kitchen
Renovations have JUST been completed on the kitchen. There is now tons of new cabinet space, miles 
of granite counter tops, all new SS appliances and an island in the center of the room. All this and 
there is still plenty of room for several people to move about freely. The stove has a convection 
oven and an "old town" metal backsplash. Ice and filtered water are available in the refrigerator 
door. You can sit at the island for breakfast and watch tv. Other artistic touches include unique 
lighting and a huge metal sun sculpture to brighten your day! There is also another large capacity 
refrigerator nearby in the garage. A basic line of cookware, place settings and glassware are 
provided. What's cookin'?

The Boat Dock
The canal is 100 ft wide and there's nothing like being on the water. The canal shown here is (a few 
hundred yards) from the intracoastal waterway and you can choose from either inlet- Boca or 
Hillsboro (Lighthouse Point). You are half way between the two inlets so choose to head north or 
south. On weekdays the trip to the inlets is about 15 min and on weekends about 30 min due to 
weekend speed limits. You are also 5 minutes from the "world famous" Cove Restaurant!

The Pool Awaits and Guest Room is Available  
The french door  (foreground, behind the large bird of paradise) leads into the private guest 
quarters. These special guests will have their own private bedroom, bathroom and French door to the 
pool deck. The bedroom has plenty of room and has a small walk-in closet. Enjoy the pool, cool off 
and relax. There's plenty of room for you and all of your friends. The neighborhood is very quiet, 
friendly and safe. Go ahead and sneak out for that midnight swim!

The sound of the fountain will set the mood for your relaxing vacation in this waterfront home. 
Deerfield Beach is a wonderful community and the beach is right over the Hillsboro Ave. bridge- 
that's one mile away. The beach is a favorite for people of all ages and has a nice selection of 
restaurants. Welcome to the Sago House!

Activities and Attractions

Welcome to Deerfield Beach!

This is one of the most beautiful and family friendly beaches in south Florida. From children to 
retirees and all ages in between, there's something for everyone. At least a dozen restaurants and 
bars are within a short walk of beach parking. The 900ft long pier is the focal point and provides a 
great view of the area. The beaches to the south (shown right) and north are both wonderful. 

Volleyball games are always being played on several nets and surfers are always just north of the 
pier. You can see the popular restaurants, Ocean's 234 and JBs in the left photo. These two 
restaurants are rare since they are just foot steps from the sand. Unfortunately, development has 
claimed most of Florida's beach front establishments and very few exist these days. Walk the half 
mile long boardwalk (right) along the beach to stretch your legs and check out the action at the 
restaurants. 

There's always great food and entertainment at the outside bars and of course, inside. These are 
unique and fun places to enjoy the afternoon or evening. Typically, JBs has a guitar solo or reggae 
band to give you that island atmosphere. On Sunday afternoons, JBs will get quite a large crowd and 
entertain you with reggae or a "top 40" band. It's a lot of fun and it's only 1 mile from the Sago 
House. It's time for you to get away, relax and enjoy the beach.
