Secluded hi-spec cottage overlooking lake near Tremblant in Tremblant

Set in a four-acre forested plot with its own small lake, this modern
(six years old) high spec cottage is just minutes' drive away from
North East America's No 1 ski and golf resorts of Mont Tremblant, in
the neighbouring municipality of Lac-Superieur.

Featuring open-plan living on the main floor (kitchen with breakfast
bar, dining area leading to outside screened summer kitchen, living
area, TV/homecinema area with double aspect wood burning fireplace)
the cottage provides a high standard of comfort for casual holiday
living. The living areas are dominated by floor-to-cathedral ceiling
windows opening onto a wide deck running the length of the house and
overlooking a small, private lake, accessed by stone steps down to the
water's edge.

Two queen size bedrooms, a single room, and a hideaway double bed in
the den area comfortably sleep seven adults with plenty of drawers and
'robes for storage.

There are spectacular views from every window, and the setting ensures
complete privacy and seclusion in and around the cottage - your own
winter wonderland or nature reserve, depending on the time of year.

In the basement is a self contained bachelor flat featuring queen size
bedroom with ensuite bathroom, kitchenette/lounge with hideaway bed, satellite TV/DVD player. This is not rented separately, but can be added to rental of the main part of the cottage for a larger party or two families - please enquire about rates.

The cottage is stylishly furnished, with lush sofas, luxury beds and
quality fittings throughout, including wood floors.

The owners have equipped the cottage as a true home from home including:

a 44in screen TV with satellite service, dvd player, five-speaker home
cinema sound system, stereo with speaker outlets in the summer
kitchen; a fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances
including stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker,
kettle, toaster, food processor, all crockery and glasses, a good
range of pans and utensils. There is also a gas barbecue for outdoors
cooking;

all linens and towels are supplied; there is a comfort air system;
in winter thermostatically controlled electric heaters plus underfloor
heating in the main bathroom keep you warm as toast while temperatures
drop outside; there is an ample supply of logs for the fireplace,
snow-clearing is included throughout the winter; the parking space has a power outlet for keeping cars warm too;

regarding communications and security, there is broadband wireless internet
connection throughout the property plus access to a wireless printer;
local telephone calls are free; an answering machine takes messages when you are out; and a burglar/fire alarm system which is easy to operate and ensures total peace of mind; local help is on call for emergencies or information;

for outside living there is deck furniture; a range of recreation
equipment is available as are books, maps, games, cards belonging to
the owners which guests are welcome to dip into; a few minutes' walk
away (on the larger Lac a L'Equerre) is a private beach with dock,
BBQ and other waterside facilities including our canoe which is moored
there most of the summer;

For local shopping, San Faustin has a post office, hardware store, and
two well-stocked depanneurs including dvd rental; San Jovite, about
10 minutes'drive away, has several big supermarkets plus a wide range
of shops and restaurants serving the international visitors attracted
to Mont Tremblant resort.

Whatever the time of year, the Laurentian Mountains of Quebec offer a
huge range of activities, many of them centred on the international
resort of Mont Tremblant, which is a short drive away from the
cottage, as is the Mont Tremblant provincial park.

Winter: downhill and cross country skiing, snow boarding, snow shoe
walking, sledging, skating, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, dog sledding.

Summer: golf (and more golf), hiking, cycling (two mountain bikes at the property), swimming, water sports, fishing, canoeing, horseriding, lake cruises, flying tours.

Anytime: shopping, dining out, spa treatments, nature watching,
unwinding, relaxing, having a great time.
