Vacation Rental Description

Welcome to our year round Maine vacation getaway!

Listen to the haunting calls of the loons across the lake, enjoy a 
breathtaking sunset behind the peaks of the White Mountains, settle 
in by the fireplace to relax with friends and family.

Here, in the secluded community of Westways, you'll discover a 
peaceful setting surrounded by the natural beauty of the lake and 
forest. Overlooking pristine Kezar Lake with its panoramic mountain 
vistas, Kezar Lake House provides spacious and comfortable 
accommodation for 12-14 people in five bedrooms.

Whether reading in an Adirondack chair under a canopy of pines, 
fishing, swimming, and boating on the lake, hiking in the White 
Mountains, golfing or skiing at Sunday River Resort...you'll find 
our home offers an ideal four season location for a vacation with 
friends or a reunion with family.

The Location

Our comfortable, contemporary, saltbox-style home is situated on a 
quiet dead-end road on the east shore of Kezar Lake's upper bay in 
Lovell, Maine. Located in the western lakes and mountains region,
Lovell is nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains, just east
of the New Hampshire border. It's conveniently located just a short
drive to the Maine towns of Bridgton and Bethel and New Hampshire's
bustling North Conway.

The House

This spacious home sleeps 14 comfortably and is set-up for 
vacationing with friends and family. There's plenty of room for the 
whole group to gather together or take some time apart. Kids will 
love hanging out in the lower level rec room to play ping pong, 
board games, or listen to music; adults will enjoy relaxing on the 
waterview deck or in front of the fireplace.

The home features 5 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms on three levels. 
The main level includes the kitchen/dining area/living room with 
french doors leading to an open deck overlooking the lawn and down 
to the water's edge. A brick fireplace graces the living room. Also 
on the main level is the master bedroom (with a private full bath 
and walk-in closet), laundry room with washer/dryer, and a half 
bath. Three additional bedrooms are located on the second floor, 
along with a balcony sitting area, a full bath, and a 3/4 bath. The 
lower level features yet another bedroom, full bathroom, sitting 
area, rec room with kitchenette. All bedrooms except the second floor

The Shared Waterfront

The house is situated about 250' from the lake with waterfront and 
mountain views, through a buffer of shrubs, blueberry bushes, and 
trees to maintain the natural beauty of the lake. You have access to 
the shared amenities of Westways, including: docks, shared boat 
house (screened and outfitted with adirondack chairs--this is a 
spectacular spot for watching the sunset with a glass of wine), and 
recreation hall (old fashioned two lane bowling alley, 
pool table, ping pong table, fieldstone fireplace). During the 
summer, you're welcome to tie your boat at the dock or better yet, 
use one of ours, we have a canoe and two kayaks available for your 
use. A few hundred yards in the other direction there's another 
dock, small sandy entrance swimming area perfect for kids, and 
lakeside recreation field with children's play/swingset. The 
Westways association also has a clay tennis court and softball 
field. There are plenty of paths and dirt roads for walking and 
exploring.

Thanksgiving: $350/night (3 night min.); Christmas Week: $2,400; New
Year's Wkend: 
$500/night (3 night min.); 
**MLK Wkend: $350/night (3 night min.); President's Wkend: $375/night
(3 night min.); Feb. School Vacation Week: $2,000

Please Note:
-Add one-time $150 cleaning fee to all rates and 7% Maine tax to all 
rates
-Linens and towels are available for an additional fee of $10 per person
-Quoted rates are for standard occupancy of up to 12 people; add 
$150 per person/week ($50 per person/weekend) up to maximum 
occupancy of 14 people (including children).
-Weekly rental period during summer runs Saturday, 3:00pm to 
Saturday, 10:00am, other times of the year weekly rental runs Friday 
to Friday.
-Weekend rental period runs Friday, 3:00pm to Sunday, 10:00am
-Minimum rental is two nights, weekly during the summer and certain 
holiday periods.
-Rates subject to change, prior to reservation.
-NO SMOKING, NO PETS
-Westways does not permit: jet skis, ATVs, snowmobiles
