Description:
A Non-Smoking home
The Forest Gate is located 14 miles west of Mena, right off Hwy 8 West,
and sits on 10 secluded acres adjacent to the Ouachita National Forest.
The forest offers miles of rugged trails for mountain biking or hiking.
The Talimena Scenic Drive runs along the mountain ridge above the property and can be accessed from Main St. in Mena.
The large, log and cedar home is situated in a park like
setting. An outdoor cooking area under the pine trees has three
large picnic tables beside a small pond for casual gatherings.
Inside, the home is elegantly furnished in a comfortable lodge
style. Each bedroom has quality linens, and a private bath. Two
separate living areas, one with a large rock fireplace and the other
with a baby grand piano for evening sing-a-longs, provide family and
friends a place to visit.
Decks off the upstairs bedrooms overlook a pastoral setting and
provide secluded areas for relaxation.

Downstairs: 1 king w/sitting area, whirlpool bath, separate shower
1 queen in log cabin w/small whirlpool bath
2 twin beds in loft overlooking cabin living area
2 Living areas both w/fireplaces - one w/piano
Kitchen - oven, dishwasher, microwave - fully equipped
Laundry room / addn'l bathroom w/tub-shower combo
Covered patio
Upstairs: 1 king w/sitting area, shower-tub combo, separate vanity
2 queen rooms each w/showers in their bathrooms
Kitchen - fully equipped, eating area & sm. sitting area
Study / computer area at top of stairs

Telephone and dial up Internet access. Free Long Distances continental US.
No satelite or cable TV but we do have several televisions with VCRs or DVD
players.

  Includes Downstairs - 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twins in cabin loft,
  2 Living rms, Kitchen, Dining & Laundry rm.
  Any combination of up to 6 individuals including children
  $50 additional for use of hide-a bed in living room (NOT per
  night),
  which will increase occupancy to 8 maximum under Family Rate.

• REUNION Rate: $350 Deposit (holds reservation and as a security deposit)
  $900 for 3 nights (minimum)
  $1200 weekly rate - 6 nights (7th night Free!)
  $200 Additional per night

  Includes Downstairs King and Queen bedrooms PLUS
  Upstairs - 1 more king, 2 more Queens & second kitchen
  Any combination of up to 10 individuals maximum occupancy

Additionally, half of rental fee due 60 days prior to arrival,
