Built to take advantage of the amazing vista of Crested Butte Valley AND to be close to the lifts! A unique rental home with 33 picture windows! Bask in the views! 3170 Square Feet. 1 King Bed, 2 Queen Beds, 2 Bunk Beds, and 1 queen futon.

Cabo's Hideaway is a 3 story home which backs up to the Gunnison National Forest and sets high above the town of Crested Butte with stunning mountain views on three sides! as well as of Crested Butte Valley. Less than a 2 minute car ride, 15 minute walk to lifts. The FREE town bus is 10
minutes' walk away.

Cabo's Hideaway is the essence of Rocky Mountain elegance, featuring 33 huge picture windows, wood-burning fireplace, huge wooden log beams, all new appliances, wrap-around decks - and an open and "airy" design.

The house:

The first floor has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a washer/dryer. There are 2 queen-size beds and a set of bunk beds.

Go up 5 steps to the master suite, with a king bed, 2 comfortable easy chairs/ottoman in front of a gas fireplace, satellite TV, large walk-in closet and sliding glass door and balcony. The master bath has a double-headed shower, whirlpool tub, double vanity and separate WC.

Walk up 5 more steps into the "GREAT room", and see why we call it the 'mountain' room. With vaulted ceilings, a loft, huge rough-hewn logs and support beams, surrounded by spacious wooden decks and 33 windows that almost bring the Rockies "indoors," this is where you'll relax in front of your wood fire and enjoy a great book or watch the game on satellite HD TV.

Enjoy breakfast either at the bar separating the great room from the kitchen, or at the glass-top breakfast table, or enjoy a meal with friends at the 8-place hand-carved hard-wood dining room table. The kitchen is well-appointed with new appliances, tile counter tops and a large pantry.

There is one more floor, the loft, which has a queen futon and lots of bedding - 2 more can sleep here! Cabo's Hideaway also features Hi-Speed Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, huge stone (real) fireplace with plenty of wood, 3 TVs with satellite programming, 1 king, 2 queens with extra thick mattresses, 1 set of bunks, jetted tub in master, passive/in-floor heating throughout, plow-service (winters) - and OH,
THOSE VIEWS!!

Wintertime at Cabo's Hideaway is simply magical - and nowhere more so than the Colorado Rocky Mountain High Country. Crested Butte is famous, worldwide, for its variety of ski terrain for all ski levels and abilities, and you're 2 minutes from the base area. The majestic mountains are blanketed in snow for as far as the eye can see, and from our home, we measure that distance in miles and miles. Come! Bundle-up and enjoy the splendor and magnificence of Crested Butte in white!

Spring and Summers are cool, dry and breezy up here, and teaming with wildflowers, hummingbirds, deer, the occasional marmot and lots of quiet solitude. Bikes are easily stored or worked on in the garage. Town is a convenient, easy bike-ride from here, as well, for amazing restaurants, outdoor music and nighttime fun! When you get ready to come home, just sling your bike on the back of the FREE town shuttle for the trip back up the mountain. We have comfortable deck chairs and a huge barbecue grill outside for an amazing sunset. You only think you've seen that many stars at night!

In the fall (mid-September thru mid-October) the mountain Aspen groves are resplendent in "Gold." Speaking of gold, there are three "Gold-medal" trout and Kokonee salmon fishing rivers just minutes away - the East, Taylor and Gunnison Rivers. Miles (& miles) of hiking and mountain biking is available, starting with the "Upper Loop Trail," which is literally just feet out your back door!

We have provided a complete telephone directory listing, by menu, of local restaurants, as well as one listing other essential contact information, such as pharmacies, airlines, C-Dot (for road closings, etc.) - it's on the fridge.
