The cottage is small, yet it has all of the necessary elements. Furnished in a comfortable shabby chic style with white slip covered sofa, overstuffed chairs, and cottage style collectibles.
If you appreciate a good nights sleep, you will love the luxury King Heavenly Bed. This is the same bed collection found at the Westin Hotels. Dressed in down with 100% Egyptian cotton sheets and down pillows.
The deck is only a few feet from the beach, and miles of beach combing. In the spring gray whales swim right in front of the cottage. Bald Eagles are often spotted from the beach as well as sea otters, seals, and endless shorebirds.
If you love winter storm watching the drama right outside the big glass windows will thrill you. Wild and dramatic, while you are comfortable inside, warmed by the fireplace.
Your favorite tunes, a good book, or quiet conversation with someone special completes the scene.

Seaside Cottage is located on the northwest shore of the island. The beach is one of the most spectacular on the island. Wild waves break on a sandy shore, perfect for beach combing when the tide is out. Walk out the door of the cottage and you are on the beach; Joseph Whidbey State Park is a short stroll away.
Just south of the cottage is the Lavender Wind Farm and Bells Strawberry Farm. The berries are ripe for picking in June, oh what fun……..and so delicious!
A short drive north will bring you to Deception Pass State Park, known for white sand beaches, fresh water lakes, hiking trails, and spectacular sunsets. Further north is Anacortes, and the ferry terminal to the San Juan Islands. This is a great day trip to explore the islands, go whale watching or for the pure pleasure of the scenery.
To the east is historic Coupeville, a seaside village with excellent restaurants, art galleries, antiques, boutique shops and a small museum. It is centered in Ebey’s National Historic Reserve. Hiking the bluff at Ebeys’s landing is one of the highlights of the island. You can catch a ferry from here to historic Port Townsend where you can explore shops, cafes and history. Beyond Port Townsend is the Olympic National Park with incredible views, hiking, and visitor center.
Driving South is the Greenbank Farm. The farm offers visitors many fine ways to spend a day. The farm is a community gathering center with art galleries, music, festivals, antiques shows, and wine tasting. The Whidbey Pie Café is famous for fresh berry pies. The café serves an excellent brunch and lunch with hearty home made soups. In the summer, on Sundays the farmers come to market to sell organic produce. The farm is groomed with easy walking trails; benches offer time to enjoy the splendid views of water and mountains.
