Surprise Landing Cottage in Fairhope

A charming, quiet and secluded one bedroom/one bath cottage located on a large property which fronts Mobile Bay. The cottage is located behind the main house on the property.  Guests have use of 300 foot pier on the Mobile Bay.  Surprise Landing Cottage is approximately 1 mile north of Marriott's Grand Hotel and approximately 3 miles south of Fairhope in Battles Wharf. Located minutes from Fairhope and a short drive from Mobile and less than an hour from the white sandy beaches of Alabama's Gulf Coast. No pets. No smoking.

Fully furnished one bedroom/one bathroom cottage. The bedroom has a queen sized bed. Double sized sleeper sofa in living area. Cable TV and Wireless internet provided. Ceiling fans in living room, bedroom and on the porch and central heat and air conditoning. We include all linens. The kitchen has a full-sized stove and refrigerator, microwave and
dishwasher. Kitchen is fully equipped. There is a full-sized washer and dryer. Enjoy beautiful
sunsets on Mobile Bay from our pier.

We are located within minutes of Lakewood's Robert Trent Jones golf course and several other golf courses nearby. The Jill Hall walking/biking trail is almost at our back door and Fairhope's charming little shops are a short drive or bike ride away. The area is known for its many seafood restaurants on the Causeway and other local favorites nearby. Tanger's Outlet Center in Foley is a short 30 minute drive for great bargains and The Eastern Shore Center in Spanish Fort offers a huge variety of shopping. Grocery stores, pharmacies,
and retail shopping are a ten minute drive. Fairhope's Arts and Crafts Festival takes place every spring and there are always local artists working in Fairhope. Mobile's Mardi Gras and Fairhope's own Mardi Gras celebrations attract many visitors who like our low-keyed style of celebrating. Weeks Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is a unique opportunity to learn about Coastal Alabama. Whether you are looking for golfing, art,

Our mimimum stay is two nights at $150 per night.  Thereafter the daily rate declines.  One week stay is $675, two weeks is $1,100, three weeks is $1,400, one month is $1800.  Plus 6 percent Lodging Tax.  The mimimum cleaning fee is $50 and covers up to one week's stay.  For extended stays, cleaning is weekly.  Cleaning for up to two weeks is $75, for up to three weeks is $100 and for one month is $125.  We require a $200 refundable deposit when booking.  We accept cash or checks.
