            My Green Gecko Cottage

 A special place for Couples
.........NO PETS, I love pets, but my unit is NOT PET friendly.............................
          ............. Please Please respect my home........
              ....................  There are many pet friendly places, but mine IS NOT one of them.

Also, the home is not large enough for a family...... I have another wonderful larger home very close to the 
Green Gecko which is GREAT for more than a couple....ask me to tell you about that one called the Cypress Ritzz


Honeymoon or spend a SPECIAL anniversay in a magical peaceful, quiet and romantic beach setting.  
No neon lights and commercial stuff..............only the quiet and a romatic cottage which was recently built to 
maximize nature and the old Florida of years gone by.


 Situated on a spacious lot with natural vegetation, including palmetos and water oaks, you will feel the magic 
and calm of the old Florida Spirit

HOWEVER, I have another unit that sleeps up to 6 that is just as lovely and close by  ***************

  Interior looks like it just jumped out of a Romantic Coastal Living Magazine............
 ... with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, white-wood walls, and a half bath on first level. 

  Kitchen is fully equipped and open to the lofty living room where you can relax with a book or watch your 
favorite movie. 
  Bedroom is upstairs and is a good size with a Queen Bed romantically draped with mosquito netting which 
enhances that cozy atmosphere of days gone by...a comfortable chair...a full bath, and French Doors opening to 
a Juliet Balcony where you can enjoy the surrounding Cypressheads while enjoying your morning coffee or just 
plain relaxing.

 This interesting cottage adjoins the Top'sl Wildlife Preserve and is just a few blocks from the beach.  Do not be 
surprised if you see deer, owls, herons and hawks, hear coyotes, bobwhites andwhipperwhils, and smell and 
hear the surf as it pounds on our lovely white sand, which is just minutes away.  Your senses will be 
overwhelmed at night when you sit in the HOT TUB...watching shooting stars and listening to the frogs croaking 
in the Cypresshead.

     Built in 2002, this cottage invites you with its soothing, new, simple and clean lines.  Beach access is just a 
short distance and you can bike to Grayton, Blue Mountain, Watercolor, Seaside and Rosemary Beach on the 
new Bike trail which can be accessed from the driveway of the Green GEcko.  Bike rentals are easy and 
companies will deliver bikes to the house.  
     Great Golf courses such as Santa Rosa Golf Country Club, Camp Creek, Burn Pines, Regatta Bay and Kelly 
Plantation are all within 5 to 20 minutes.  And the SHOPPING........you won't believe the bargains at the outlet 
mall which is only 7 minutes away.


If you are tired of those same old condominium experiences...give us a try...we are within driving distance of 
Atlanta, Memphis, Nashville, Birmingham, New Orleans, Texas and yes, even Tampa.......Southern Florida loves 
us too!

Large pool which is shared with just one other small cottage.  Our pool is great during the late spring, summer 
and fall season.   The hot tub is great for Winter.

THe cottage is located:
         3 miles from a new Publix grocery
         3 miles from a new PF Changs, Flemings, Los Cantinas, Starbucks
         3 miles from Baytown Wharf
       11 miles from SEaside
Biking:  The Tops'l State Park is less than 1/4 mile from cottage
            18 miles of biking trails from one end of 30A to the other

Winter of 07 & 08............11/2 to 2/29.. $572/7nts which includes all fees....... .....(or $125/nt + cleaning fee*)
Spring of 08....................3/1 to 5/23.. ...$936/5ntsf which includes all fees............(or $175/nt + cleaning fee*)
Summer of 08.................5/24to 9/13...$988/5nts which includes all fees..............(or $200/nt + cleaning fee*)
Fall of 08........................9/14 to 11/1....$884/5nts which includes all fees.............(or $175/nt + cleaning fee*) 

Note:* Cleaning fee will only be added if your stay is less than 5/nt
