Vacation Rental Description

Are you looking to have a memorable vacation without spending alot of money on those premium 
rental rates? We offer a rustic cabin set back in the woods of the southern Blue Ridge Mountains, 
yet conveniently located just ten minutes from Clayton, GA. 

Enjoy the blossoming springtime, the full garment of summer, or the changing colors of fall. 

Our cabin has two bedrooms, one bath and a loft. It comfortably sleeps six. There is a large, 
open deck to enjoy coffee in the morning, sun in the afternoon, and a barbeque in the evening. 
There is plenty of room outdoors to play with the kids, hike through the woods, or just relax.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Bird and squirrel watching with the occasional deer.
Wood floors, walls, and cabinets.
Wood burning stove for the cool nights.
Family games for indoor fun.
DVD player for the movie nights (bring your own movies).
Iron and ironing board.
Charcoal grill on the deck.
Kitchen equipped with dishes, utensils, pots/pans,
coffee maker, toaster and microwave.
Linens provided.
No smoking.

If you have vacationed in, or passed through, the Clayton area then 
you already know the number of opportunities there are for a family 
or a couple to do while vacationing.  If you have not had the 
fortunate opportunity, then let me share a few of the things my 
family and friends enjoy experiencing:

  Visit the Hillside Apple Orchard - locally made jams, salsa, etc.
  Hiking and biking - many fun trails from easy to challenging
  Hike and camp on the Appalachian Trail
  Tubing and white water rafting
    Nantahala, Chatooga, Toccoa, Ocoee, and others
  Snow tubing (must be winter time!) sorry for our summer guests
  Horseback riding
  Rabun Beach
  Boat and jet ski rentals
  Fishing the multiple rivers and lakes
    Lake Rabun, Lake Seed, Lake Burton and others
  Tennis and golf
  Downtown Clayton - Shop for antiques, crafts, or just the right souvenir
  Gem mining
  Multiple nearby waterfalls
    Panther Creek Falls, Toccoa Falls, Tullulah Falls, Minnehaha Falls, and more   
  State Parks - Black Rock Mountain, Tallulah Gorge, and Moccasin Creek
  Visit nearby Helen, Clarkesville, Dillard, Elijay, Franklin, and Highlands
  Dollywood (A few hours north)
  Atlanta, GA (90 minutes south)- Aquarium, Six Flags over Georgia,

Vacation Rental Rates

Regular Schedule (Two night minimum) 
$65 per night, cleaning fee $60 per reservation
10% Georgia lodging tax
Weekly rate - $430 per week

Holiday Schedule (Three night minimum)

Deposit: 50% per reservation  (Deposit is non-refundable within 
fourteen days from date of check-in.)

Payment via PayPal accepted.

Check in    2:00 pm
Check out  11:00 am
(You may check out at 5:00 if there is no conflict with the next 
reservation, must check with owner for prior approval.)
