Vacation Rental Description

This magnificent Old Las Palmas estate was formerly Daryl F. Zanuck's 
(founder of 20th Century Fox Studios), guest house and was visited 
frequently by illustrious guests such as Elvis Presley. The Palm 
Springs Estate has one third acre of lush sub-tropical gardens and is 
privately walled and gated. The outdoor areas include a large pool, a 
huge in-ground spa with waterfall feature, built-in BBQ, several 
seating and dining areas and spectacular mountain views. 
 
The Palm Springs Estate is decorated in a "Hollywood Contemporary" 
style and has large living and dining areas.There are three bedroom 
suites with private doors to their own patios. The master suite has a 
double walk-in shower with private doors to the outside spa. There is 
also a media-guest room with a 47" LCD flat screen TV that has two full-sized euro sleeper,sofas and  
a well appointed,entertainment sized kitchen. The separate kitchen eating area has 
French doors that open to a lovely garden area with citrus trees. Make 
your own fresh squeezed juice! . The Palm Springs Estate is situated 
in a neighborhood filled with old movie star houses and a short, 
beautiful walk brings you to downtown Palm Spring's great restaurants, 
shopping and entertainment .

    Additional amenities include wireless internet, DVD player, 
covered parking, remote gated entry, close proximity to numerous golf 
courses, maid service available for additional cleaning upon request

Activities and Attractions

Some of the many attractions in the immediate vicinity of Palm Springs 
Estate are the many restaurants, shops and galleries of the downtown 
area. There is a weekly "Villagefest" on Thursday evenings, with fun 
for all age groups. There are several casinos, concert and theater 
venues as well as a museum with world class exhibits. The area is 
known for it's many great golf courses and hiking trails. Also within 
a few minutes drive is a water park, zoo, go-carting, miniature golf, 
a family entertainment complex, horseback riding , state parks and a 
wonderful tram ride to the top of the mountains that has walking 
trails, picnicing areas, a restaurant and spectacular views.
