Vacation Rental Description

Our condo is deep into the Worthington community, giving it  
an exceptionally quiet setting.  The lanai and master bedroom  
overlook the 3rd fairway to the lake beyond.  Its western exposure  
guarantees lots of afternoon sun and lovely sunset views.  It is on  
the second floor, which not only adds the spaciousness of its vaulted  
ceilings, but also a measure of quietness, security and privacy.   
 
	The condo is fully furnished with a decorator’s touch.  The  
living-dining room includes several comfortable chairs, a queen-size  
sofa/bed, and a glass top dining table with four chairs.  The kitchen  
is well-provided with all of the things that make mealtime happen  
easily.  There is also a full laundry, including iron and board.  The  
master bedroom, like the living room, opens onto the lanai, and has a  
queen bed, an open lavatory/dressing area, and a large walk-in  
shower.  The guest bedroom has twin beds that can be tethered into a  
king bed if desired, and its own full bath.

Vacation Rental Amenities

For the golfer, Worthington is a dream come true.  The par 72  
course was designed by Gordon Lewis, and completely renovated in  
2002.  It includes a putting green, a practice sand bunker, a  
chipping area, and an aquatic driving range.  18 holes costs $65-- 
very reasonable for SW Florida.  Golf cart rental is a miniscule  
$4/day. 
	For the tennis player, Worthington is very special place.   
The Club has one of the finest tennis programs in Southwest Florida,  
and its teams compete regularly at the state and national levels.   
There are five Har-tru clay courts adjacent to the clubhouse, and  
another court in the Cavendish Court community.  
        For the swimmer, there is the large master pool and spa, just  
five minutes walk from the condo.  There is also a smaller  
neighborhood pool one minute walk away.  
        A state-of-the-art fitness center is next to the clubhouse,  
again about five minutes away on foot.

Activities and Attractions

Worthington Country Club is conveniently located for any of SW  
Florida’s attractions.  A half-hour drive will take you to Ft. Myers  
Beach on the north and downtown Naples (Tin City, Fifth Avenue) on  
the south.  The Naples Philharmonic Hall and Art Museum, the Barbara  
Mann Theatre, and Florida Gulf Coast University campus are all within  
easy reach.  Churches of every kind, wildlife sanctuaries, flea  
markets and shopping/outlet malls are not far away.  Publix  
supermarket is just outside the Worthington gate.  Bonita Beach,  
Barefoot Beach, and Wiggins Pass State Park, all on the Gulf, are  
just minutes away by car.  Orlando is a 4-hour drive away.

Vacation Rental Rates

Seasonal 2009: January-March, $2900; April, $2500.  
Other months negotiable.  5% discount for multiple months. 
Additional costs: 
   Refundable cleaning/damage deposit:  $200 
   Worthington application/membership transfer fees:  $250 
   Florida state and county taxes:  11% 
   Dining room/pub purchases of at least $100/month. 
An initial non-refundable payment of $500 secures your rental and  
applies towards the rent.
