For the fishing enthusist, how about snook, trout, redfish, pompano and possibly tarpon? Excellent fishing guides and tour packages are throughout the area.
Like to experience wildlife? Dolphin like to show off in the harbor and off the beach. Pelican, ospreys and eagles will delight you as they dive for their dinner. Sandpipers love to scurry along the beach.
Gopher turtle and armadillos occassionally make their appearances. And in the winter months the manatees gather in the harbor.
How about a morning walk on the beach to see the shells that have been washed ashore?
