Spring Break by the Pier

The complex was very nice, with pool and fitness room. The location was excellent, right across the street from the Park and Pier -- bocce courts, water park, fishing beach, pavilion, and volley ball courts. During one of the days there was a farmers' market at the park. There were good restaurants within walking distance. We even enjoyed dinner and trivia night at one of them.

The unit itself was spacious and very well equipped. An added bonus was access to the garage, which enabled us to store our bicycles and bike rack inside rather than keeping them attached to our vehicle in the parking lot. Even though we brought our own beach gear the garage also contained boogie boards and beach chairs for our use (which is really handy for someone flying in).

The unit was comfortable for the seven of us -- two parents, two grandparents, a high schooler, middle schooler, and elementary student. And since the unit was on the third floor, we had a great view from the balcony. There are elevators in addition to stairs, so that made the move in and move out easy.

In addition to the miles of beaches, St. Augustine has many attractions and much history. We visited the lighthouse, Castillo de San Marcos, and The Fountain of Youth -- a lot of history. We also did a ghost tour and a carriage ride, and enjoyed riding our bicycles up and down the beach.

Also, we must pay compliments to the staff at the real estate office -- they were kind enough to retrieve and mail us an important item we discovered we left in the unit (but didn't realize until we were three hours down the road).

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, sight seeing

St. Augustine weekend.

Perfect condo for our family for the weekend in St. Augustine. Very close to downtown, beach, and other activities. It only took us minutes to drive to any of these. The condo is nicely appointed (not luxurious), clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy. Lots of games and books and videos for the family are available for use. We truly appreciated the 3 bedrooms, full kitchen and family room space during our stay (as opposed to just a bed in a hotel room). I was very comfortable leaving my 83yr old mother in law and our 3 yr old daughter here for the evening while we went to a wedding. Condo is on the 3rd floor and the Balcony railings are secure and toddler proof. There are elevators or an easy stairway to get to the condo.

Owners were responsive and rental process was easy. I would recommend this location to a friend and we'd stay here again.

Recommended for: families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing

Amazing!

We just came back from a 3 night stay in this beautiful condo! What an amazing time we had! The condo is very spacious and absolutely beautiful! Our family (4 adults and 2 children) had ample room to spread out and relax in. The condo is just a simple walk away from the pool and the beach. It was nice to not have to pack up in the vehicle and travel to the beach!! My five and three year old walked the distance to the beach (to give you an idea of the short distance). My husband and I spent the early morning out on the balcony watching the ducks, turtles, and fish in the pond while we listened to the waves crashing in the background.

Mrs. Joanne (the owner) and Premier Properties (the rental agents) are very prompt with replies via email and phone. Customer service was A++!!

I would highly recommend this rental! We are already planning our return for next summer --- for a whole week instead!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
