Vacation Rental Description

Don't get trapped on the mountain!

This charming Victorian home is the perfect place for your vacation in
Crested Butte. Located just one block from the historic Elk Avenue,
the prime location offers easy access to all of Crested Butte's great
shopping, tasty restaurants, and the town movie theater. Also, the
home is located less than a block away from the free shuttle that
takes you right up to the mountain.

We traded in our mountain condo for an in-town house. By staying in
the town of Crested Butte, you'll have the advantage of being blocks
from all of the great features this quaint town has to offer, without
being isolated on the mountain in the evenings. The grocery store and
movie theater are right down the street. You're also less than a block
from the free shuttle up to the mountain. The home is conveniently
located near the Nordic Center, which is great for those interested in
cross country skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, and sledding. Also,
the best restaurants and shopping in Crested Butter are only steps away!

This home has two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The spacious
bedrooms are both downstairs and have attached bathrooms that have
been recently remodeled. One bedroom has two twin beds, while the
other has a queen. There is also a washer/dryer downstairs.

Upstairs, there is a large, sunny living room, perfect for relaxing
with family and friends or watching TV, which has cable and a VCR.
There is also a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and half bath
upstairs. Most importantly, there is a wonderful balcony which offers
fantastic views and is a great place to hang out during the day.

There is street parking for 3 cars, but if you fly into Gunnison you
won't even have to rent a car. The in-town shuttle is free and will
take you up to the mountain in no time, and everything in town is an
easy walk. If you decide to fly into Gunnison, Alpine Express offers
shuttles from the airport to Crested Butte. United, Continental and
Delta all serve the Gunnison airport.
