Owner need to insure all amenities work properly

We rented this home because it had a swimming pool and spa, and although we knew the pool would be too cold, we were looking forward to using the spa during the winter months. We were only able to use it once, and then it broke. The owner apparently did not want to commit any money to have it fixed (in Jan), so this was a major disappointment, as he had ample time to have this done.
Additionally, we were promised cable TV. There were 17 channels accessible, and we found out after almost a month, that the cable had been put on vacation mode and that we should have received 70 channels. Even after that was supposedly resolved, the only TV that had full cable programming was the one in the living room, but we were never able to access all of them from the bedroom, which was problematic, as we often watch different channels. Given these two circumstances, we asked for a small credit, but the owner didn't seem overly receptive to this request, and I do not have great hopes - communication was prompted only from our end, even when a response to any questions, etc was always requested. We are also still waiting for our deposit back, and if the outcome is not what we anticipate, I will add additional comments.

Other than those two issues, the unit was on a quiet street, with the pool having a southwest exposure, that is a plus. The master bedroom was a nice size, and had a wonderful walk in shower. Also, the owner did allow us to arrive a day early, and that was greatly appreciated. All in all, a nice home.
