Vacation Rental Description

The Riviera Club is on the quiet, south end of Fort Myers Beach. The  
building is among the nicest on the island.  It has 90 two bedroom  
units. We call our unit "Puesta del Sol" which translates to "sunset"  
because we always have a great view of the extraordinary sunset each  
day. From the screened lanai of this third floor condominium guests  
can enjoy a variety of birds along the shore as well. The unit is  
1100 square feet of efficient space. Puesta del Sol is nicely  
decorated in a Florida style.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Puesta del Sol, unit #305, features 3 thin screen TV's, a large  
plasma television in the living room and a smaller LCD TV in each  
bedroom.  
The second bedroom has 2 twin beds but can be modified to  
be a king. The living room has a sleeper sofa. 
The unit is fully furnished including linens. Air conditioning is  
included as is local telephone service. The kitchen has granite  
counter tops and tile flooring. Each bedroom features a ceiling fan.  
The master bath features a large tub as well as a shower. A new washer  
and dryer are in the unit. There  
is a small office in a corner of the condo with high speed cable  
internet service. Maid service is optional.  
 
The Riviera Club grounds are lush and uncrowded. The pool area  
recently reopened after construction of a new clubhouse and major  
landscaping. Two BBQ's are located just outside the clubhouse.  A  
shuffleboard court is on the property and some bike racks are located  
near the garage.  
 
There are many restaurants nearby, several within walking distance.   
The Holiday Inn is a short walk up the beach where wave runners and  
other toys can be rented.  Sidewalks extend the length of the  
island.  The Fort Myers Beach trolley has a stop just outside the 
Riviera Club entrance.

Activities and Attractions

Shelling is very popular.  There are a great variety along this  
stretch of beach. Bird watching and photography as well as shore  
fishing can be enjoyed. Sunbathing is always a possibility beside the  
pool or oceanside. Nearby Lover's Key State Park has kayaks for rent  
and nature walks. Parasailing is offered nearby. Right across the  
street pontoon boats and power boats can be rented. Bicycles can be  
rented in the area. Guided fishing excursions are advertised.  Bonita  
Springs, Naples, flea markets, Times Square on the north end of  
Estero Island are possible diversionary destinations.  There is a  
boat trip to Key West available. Casino boat trips run daily from  
downtown Ft.Myers Beach. A local movie theater is very close.  You  
could check out the lively night life at a couple of nearby bars.

Vacation Rental Rates

$1200 per week December through May.  $1100 per week June through 
November. 2 week minimum as per Riviera Club regulations. 
 
 
9% Florida tax additional.  One week security deposit is required.
