Vacation Rental Description

Located between Troon North and Rio Verde just a short drive to 
Fountain Hills, Cave Creek, Carefree and all that North Scottsdale 
has to offer.  This enchanting Territorial style custom home is 
situated on 1.25 acres with horse priveleges in the Rio Verde 
Foothills.  The area is famous for it's incredible views of the Four 
Peaks, Maztazal, and Superstition Wilderness areas.  The 
Tonto National Forest is just 2 miles to the north and the Verde 
River is approximately 6 miles due east.  Pinnacle Peak Park for 
hiking, Troon Country Club and the Phoenix Golf Club for golfing are 
short drives away.  Ride right off the property onto miles of trails 
for hiking, horse back riding, and OHV/dirt biking.  Famous 
resturants like Pinnacle Peak Patio, Riata Pass and Greasewood Flats 
are about 6 miles away.  

Vacation Rental Amenities

Step out of the master bedroom into the beautiful negative edge pool 
and courtyard.  There are two other courtyards to enjoy off the 
formal dining room and large chef's full service kitchen areas.  Beautiful desert 
landscaping make this a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of the 
Sonoran Desert.  The master bath includes a jetted tub, snail 
shower, and two vanities.  The home is carpeted and Saltillo tiled 
throughout.  Enjoy the fireplace in the great room on those cool 
nights, the satellite TV, stereo, DVD player, CD player and VCR add 
to the amenities included.

The home includes an office, (or third bedroom), w/desk and high speed internet connection 
(hughesnet) available.    

Activities and Attractions

Within 6 miles of the Verde River and close to the Tonto National Forest for 
numerous recreational activities.  Closest lakes are Bartlett (the 
damn can be seen from the pool area), Horse Shoe, and Saguaro.  Saguaro Lake is a nice 
"cruise" to take on your motorcycle.  ATV and horse back riding are 
popular activities and there is a two stall "mare motel" with turnout
on the property.  There are also many full service stables in the 
Rio Verde Foothills area and many equestrian opportunities.
Several golf courses are nearby including the well known Troon Country 
Club and Phoenix Golf Club.  Pinnacle Peak is a spectacular hike and 
located close to many old Arizona restaurant/landmarks.  
Hiking options abound as do bicycling.  There are 2 mountain bikes 
on site.
