vacation rental description
Beach Bungalow located right on the waters edge of Claytor Lake,
across from the Windows Cliffs, and in the neighborhood with Harry
DeHaven Park. Totally level lot with a pier for docking your boat
right in front of the house, and a free boat launch right down the
road at the park. The first two bedrooms each have a full-size bed.
Third bedroom has a twin-bed with extra mattress. Fouton in living
room, and loft area above the living for extra sleepers. Maximum
occupants = 8. Nice kitchen fully equipped for cooking, plus gas
grill on the deck. All bed linens and bath linens are provided.

Enjoy a bonfire by the water, or get some exercise in the pedal
boat. This is just a great place to get away and enjoy the lake!!
Bring your boat or rent one here. Claytor Lake is excellent for
fishing, swimming, water-skiing, jet-skiing, kyaking, and all sorts
of boating.

Other local attractions of the New River Valley include Claytor Lake
State Park for a sandy swimming beach, playgrounds, boat rentals.
Check out Randolph Park in Dublin with its huge pools, waterslide,
and playground. Race fans will enjoy Motor Mile Raceway (oval and
drag racing). New River Trail State Park is the rage for bicycle
enthusiasts and easy hiking. If you want more strenuous hiking try
the Appalachian Trail. And if you want to DRIVE the scenic tour,
take the Blue Ridge Parkway. Visit Virginia Tech and Radford
University, both nearby. Check Pulaski County Fairgrounds for
scheduled events such as rodeos, fairs, and flea markets. Not the
greatest area for shopping, unless you're into antiques!
vacation rental rates
Summer rates are May 1 through October 1 at $900 per week plus 5% tax and $60 cleaning fee. October through April we will rent for a 2-night minimum, $125 per night. Always add 5% transient tax and $60 cleaning fee.
