vacation rental description
A classic "old Florida" bungalow, newly updated to provide you a comfortable refuge in downtown Sarasota. Walk through the pretty Laurel Park neighborhood (recently named a National Historic District) to nearby urban amenities: Main Street shops, restaurants and movies, Towles Court artists' colony with galleries and studios, Payne Park, the beautiful Sarasota bayfront, the Saturday farmers market.
The new bathroom and updated kitchen are classically styled, squeaky-clean and fully equipped. Enjoy sunny days on the lanai (complete with Florida-style louvered windows) or the backyard stone patio furnished with table, chairs and umbrella; pick citrus fruit from your own trees. Tile floors throughout continue the cool but tropical feel.
Ten minutes in the car will take you to Lido or Siesta Key beaches with their famous white sands.

"My wife and I just want to say that we were completely happy with the house rental. It was more spacious than any hotel room, perfectly clean, with a comfortable bed, extra rooms for work or reading, and a great flat screen TV with DVD player. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and entertaining with a fabulous outdoor grill and professional utensils (something the guy cares about). The location just off downtown made it convenient to sightseeing at the harbor, attending shows, and having fun on rental bikes. It was an ideal choice for our vacation. Thanks." - Mark & Peggy
