Vacation Rental Description

Built in 1942, this two bedroom, one bath cottage is sunny, clean, and 
charmingly furnished. The house is just 3 houses, or about 100 feet, 
from the bay front, and about 100 yards from the ocean. 
 
Beautiful hardwood floors, brick fireplace, fluffy down comforters on 
beds. Gas heat; ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Full kitchen and bath; 
all bed & bath linens provided. Washer & dryer in attached garage; 
covered carport for parking. 
 
Pretty front garden has a cute little bistro set; in the backyard 
patio is a big round table with umbrella - take your pick for outdoor 
summer dining. 
 
This is a great place to visit in both summer and winter! 
Unless you really love staying at hotels, beach cottages are SO much 
nicer to vacation in than hotel rooms or suites, and usually a lot 
cheaper, too. Of course, most beach rentals don't come with room 
service or a daily maid - but if you can live without that, then rent 
a beach house - if not this one, then another one. 
 
But this one is awfully cute, don't you think?

Vacation Rental Amenities

Beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, boogie boards, and two bicycles.  
Cable TV, DVD player, wireless internet access.  
Large gas grill, outdoor shower.  
Coffeemaker, coffee grinder, wide slot toaster, blender, microwave 
oven, full size washer & dryer. 
Iron/ironing board, hair dryer, alarm clock. 
  
Just bring your clothes and your personal items - we've tried to think 
of everything else you might need!

Activities and Attractions

The house is located on the bay side of South Mission Beach, a 
wonderful place surrounded by the pretty blue waters of both Mission 
Bay and the Pacific Ocean.  
 
Belmont Park (and the old Big Dipper rollercoaster) is a 10 minute 
walk from the house. 
SeaWorld is a five minute drive. 
The San Diego Zoo, La Jolla Cove, Balboa Park, and the downtown 
Gaslamp Quarter are all about 15-20 minutes away (driving). Both 
Legoland and the San Diego Wild Animal Park are about a 35 minute 
drive; Disneyland is 90 minutes. 
Less than 7 miles from San Diego International Airport.

Vacation Rental Rates

January through May, 2008 (holidays slightly higher): 
 
$775 a week 
$130 a night 
(3 night minimum stay requirement) 
 
June through August, 2008 (holidays slighter higher): 
 
June: $1400/week, $225/night 
July-August: $1500/week, $250/night 
(3 night minimum stay requirement) 
 
Security deposit is $450, and fully refundable.
