Vacation Rental Description

The Little Red House is our 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath water front home on
the north side of Little Lagoon in Gulf Shores.  Little Lagoon is 9
miles long and over a mile wide.  We are at the midway point across
from the Pass that goes into the Gulf of Mexico.  The Lagoon is
perfect for what ever water sport you have in mind.  You can do
anything from laying around on a raft and soaking up the sun to
kayaking, sailing, all types of motor boat activities, wave runners,
etc.  The fishing and crabbing is great right off the end of the new
180 ft pier that can accommodate up to a 24 ft boat and four wave
runners.The Lagoon has a nice sandy bottom that is easy on the feet. 
The Lagoon is basically shallow and it is about waste deep at the end
of the pier.  (About 120 yards from the end of the pier the water
depth goes from about 4 ft to 20 ft.)  The Little Red House has a
large screened in area under the house known as the Pirates Den.  This
area can be used to entertain, barbecue, play games and to lay around
and do absolutely nothing.  Upstairs there is a large sun deck that
has sun all day, great for laying out.  There is a viewing deck that
is surrounded and shaded by beautiful Water Oaks.  It is the perfect
place to have a cup of coffee and watch a beautiful sunrise or to have
a romantic dinner with that special someone. 
  In the Fall, Winter and early Spring it is real peaceful and tranquil.
You can sit in the Pirates Den around the fire pit (only available
Fall to early Spring) and roast marshmallows or sip on some hot cocoa.
You may want to take advantage of the bike trail that goes through the
State Park, all of down town Gulf Shores and down Fort Morgan Rd. for
miles. It may go to the Fort by now I'm not sure.  With such a nice
influx of Snowbirds into the area most all the local eateries and
shops stay open year round.

Activities and Attractions

The Little Red House is in the city limits of Gulf Shores which means
its close to everything. You are 5 minutes away from Waterville USA,
the Gulf of Mexico, a grocery store, a public boat launch, across the
street from one of the nicest walking/bike trails you'll ever see, 13
miles from the Outlet Mall in Foley Al., 17 miles from Fort Morgan. 
There are so many golf courses, amusement parks, restaurants and bars
I can't name them all, but you're not more than 5 minutes away from
all of it.  There are also a number of Churches in the area that would
be glad to see you.

May 25, 08 - Sept. 06, 2008................$1200.00/week 

Sept. 07, 08 - March 28, 2009..............$800.00/week 

Sept. 07, 08 - March 28, 2009.............$1400.00/month
