Vacation Rental Description

This stilt duplex was built in 1990 on a freshwater lake next to 
the Catholic Church on beautiful Fort Myers Beach. The interior is 
bright and airy. If you are looking more for the comfort of a home 
this unit is for you. It takes about 3 minutes to walk to one of the 
nicest beaches on the island.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The screened covered lanai has a splendid view of the lake where the 
occasional alligator or otter may be seen and the bird life is 
amazing. Enjoy the sunrise over the lake in the morning.  The yard 
is landscaped with plants native to Estero Island. The unit is 
dominated by the great room with a userfriendly kitchen open to the 
barnwood sided dining room that looks over the lake. The kitchen is 
fully stocked with all of the utinsels and appliances you would 
expect. The whimsically decorated living room has a spiral staircase 
to the loft above which has a futon that may be used for overnight 
guests. The washer and dryer are conveniently located in the utility 
room next to the kitchen and both tile floored bathrooms are 
tastefully decorated. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, walk 
in closet and bathroom. The spare room has two twin beds.  
Ceiling fans add comfort to every room. There is plenty of parking 
including two covered spaces.

Activities and Attractions

Fort Myers beach is two hours from Fort Lauderdale and two hours 
from Tampa so visitors may enjoy all that south Florida has to offer 
in a short drive. There are state, county, and city parks all within 
a five mile radius of the unit. The area is a golfer's paradise with 
literally scores of golf courses to choose from. The island is bike 
friendly, there is a grocery store and a movie theater only a mile 
away. Most of the bars and restaurants are located 3 miles to the 
north of the island keeping this area more peaceful. The 
trolley only costs a quarter and will take you just about anywhere 
on the island you wish to go.

Vacation Rental Rates

January 2008: $3,000. February and March 2008: $3,300 per month. April 2008 through November 2008: 
$2,750, December, 2008 and January 2009: $3,000. $2,300 per month for a six month rental November through 
April (6 month rentals do not pay sales and bed taxes). Units subject to 
sales and bed taxes - 11%. A $300 non-refundable (unless unit rents 
for the time canceled) deposit is required to secure the unit and a 
$500 damage and security deposit is required but is refundable based 
on the condition of the unit. The unit is also available for an 
annual rental of $1,900 a month plus utilities.

Weekly rentals: $1,100 a week plus 11% taxes, and a $95 cleaning 
fee. Weekly rental is only available April through November.
