Vacation Rental Description

You will love staying in this darling, recently remodeled cabin in 
the woods! The location is excellent, the property is very nice! 
From the moment you enter the covered front porch and come in the 
front door, you'll notice rustic redwood vaulted ceilings, designer 
paint and cowhide wallpaper (the cowboy theme throughout), new 
comfortable furniture, nicely decorated and tastefully appointed 
with the cabin feeling in mind.

The main floor has two bedrooms (each with king beds) and a full 
bath.  Upstairs is a huge loft with a king bed, a twin bed and an 
inflatable queen bed that is very comfortable.  The loft also has
a big bathroom with shower.

Covered front and back porches are furnished and are perfect for 
entertaining or just relaxing.  The front porch has pretty mountain 
views where you can have a cup of coffee and wave to the neighbors 
that may walk by, while the back porch is private and surrounded by 
tall pines. A seasonal creek flows through the back of this 1/2 acre 
parcel and brings lots of wildlife to your back door.

Just bring your overnight bag!  There are plenty of towels, a washer 
and dryer for your use and a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, 
pots, pans, toaster, coffee pot and spices.

Conveniently located on a paved road in Strawberry, only 90 minutes 
from both Phoenix and Scottsdale and in an area with no steep roads 
or driveways so come on up whether it's snowing or not!  The back 
yard is fenced so you can bring your pet and let them go outside and 
enjoy the yard too!  Don't forget to bring your camera - elk walk 
through the back early in the morning on occasion!

Activities and Attractions

There is so much to do or just relax, read, and nap!
Only one block from the Tonto National Forest with numerous trails 
for hiking (easy to moderate).
Four really good restaurants in Strawberry (Mama Joe's, The 
Strawberry Lodge, Sportsman's Chalet and the Mogollon Steakhouse).  
Check for live music at these locations.
Only 3 miles from the quaint town of Pine with restaurants, bars, 
and antique shops.
A must see is the Tonto Natural Bridge (just east of Pine).
Only a 20 minute drive to Payson with more shopping and golfing!

Vacation Rental Rates

Weekends (Friday and Saturday nights) - $179.00 per night with two 
night minimum
Weekdays (Sunday through Thursday nights) - $149.00 per night with 
two night minimum
Weekly rates - $700 per week (six nights - seven days)
$70 cleaning fee per stay

$200 refundable pet deposit
$500 refundable damage deposit
