A Family Gathering

The Jordan Lodge was a great place for our family of 20 to gather together over the holidays. We expected it to be much closer to Leavenworth (it was about a 40 minute drive in winter) and a little newer from the pictures. However, the setting was peaceful and beautiful especially in the snow. No other place would have allowed us a common meeting area to eat, play games, watch movies and enjoy each other's company. We also really appreciated the help from the owner getting all of our luggage and supplies back up the snowy driveway. Thank you for a memorable trip!

Fun time

Had a most excellent time dispite the champane bottel cork breaking the TV. We felt bad and called the next morning to report the damage and the manager was very understanding and made all the repairs. The steep slope driveway covered with snow added to the fun of using our snow shoes to get up and down. We also got a front row seat to the local sleding hill. However, if you do have any disablities this is not the place to rent in the winter time.

Note: Open champane bottels outside and not in doors.

Christmas at the Jordan

This was our second early Christmas at the Jordan with our sons and their wives/girlfriends and 3 small grandchildren...we once again had a wonderful time in this beautiful Lodge. Plenty of room for everyone and I love that I can be in the kitchen cooking but still be a part of a game being played on the huge table and see the cozy fire in the fireplace. My husband and I arrive one day early so we can sit in the hot tub on the deck with a glass of wine and enjoy the sound of the river before the boisterous family arrives. We have made a tradition of all of us going to Mountain Springs Lodge for a sleigh ride together which is not too far away, dress warm! I love going into the beautiful town of Leavenworth with all the hustle bustle and returning to the serenity of the Jordan...makes Christmas what it should be...family, food, and fun!
