Vacation Rental Description

This cottage is right on beautiful Lake Margarethe, 5 miles east of 
Grayling, MI.  The lake is a 2000 acre all sports lake.  The cottage 
has a wrap around deck facing the lake, with a table and chairs and 
11 foot umbrella to enjoy during the warmer summer months.  It looks 
out onto the lake where there is a dock and a boat tie down if you 
bring or rent a boat.  There are three roomy bedrooms.  The master 
bedroom has a queen bed and it's own bath and a half.  The "kid's 
room" has 2 single beds and a set of bunk beds.  The other bedroom 
has a queen bed.  The main bath and a half is large with laundry 
facilities if needed.  All the beds have down comforters and all the 
bedrooms have ceiling fans.

The front of the cottage has a Great Room with a full service 
kitchen, dining table and living room with gas fireplace.  There are 
2 sofas in the living room, 1 pulls out into a queen bed.  From the 
Great Room you can go out onto the deck.  

Vacation Rental Amenities

All linens are supplied. The full service kitchen includes stove, 
refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher.  Most everything needed to 
prepare meals is provided (except food).  There is also a coffee pot 
with filters.   The TV has cable and a DVD player.

WIFI is now available.

There is a gas grill on the deck and a 2-person sailboat available 
with life jackets. There is a locked garage that you can keep 
anything but a car in during your stay.   

Activities and Attractions

The lake is great for fishing, tubing, water skiing, swimming, 
sailing, jet skis, and just lazying around. There is a firepit in the front yard near the lake, 
making for great evenings. In winter there is ice 
fishing and snow sledding.  The surrounding area has down hill 
skiing, snow boarding and cross country skiing.  There are biking, 
mountain biking and walking trails.  The AuSable and Manistee Rivers 
afford you kayaking, canoeing, rafting and fishing.  There are also 
many ski areas within 60 miles of the property.  Mackinac Island is 
a 100 mile drive north which can make a great day trip.  Traverse 
City is a 45 minute drive where you can enjoy shopping and 
restaurants among many other activities.   If your're an early riser 
you can enjoy the sunrise over the lake.

Vacation Rental Rates

$175/nt., $150/nt. for 6 nights or more.
Weekdays and weeknights are the same all year.
1/3 of your total rental fee will confirm your reservation.
There is a $60 nonrefundable cleaning fee.
There is a $300 damage deposit that will be returned within 10 days 
following your stay.
You must be at least 25 years old to rent this property.
